  1. Welcome to North Side Baseball! Hopefully someone here can help you...
  2. Well, the past two days have been a pleasant surprise and now the Cubs have Justin Steele on the mound.
  3. Huh. Well, there you go. Learn something new every day.
  4. When you comp Troy to Dozier, I assume you're comping the finished MLB product Dozier, not the slap-hitting mediocre prospect Dozier.
  5. Interesting. I'll have to dig into that but I don't think that behavior was happening before the last couple of updates. It might be a bug.
  6. Yikes, thanks. I will notify the provider.
  7. I like Marcus Stroman but I'm totally fine with moving on from him at this point in his career.
  8. Really? I've never had this problem. Is anyone else seeing this?
  9. Cubs can get a series win out of the way after a nice win yesterday but given the pitching matchup here, I'm not holding my breath.
  10. I've been watching a lot of losing baseball lately. It's not great. Please beat the very bad Reds who are putting a very bad pitcher on the mound today.
  11. Trade him to the Twins, they need that kind of production from the bullpen.
  12. Welcome to North Side Baseball, BTW! And I just got home from an appointment, only to find... a no hitter happening. Against the ****ing Reds, no less.
  13. Ah, thanks. I thought he had two more years. Time flies when you're coming out of a pandemic and life is upside down for 2+ years.
  14. I hold the opinion that Stroman being so good he opts out is more likely to work out for the Cubs than seeing him stick around for a couple more years. I liked 30 year old Stroman quite a lot, I'm far more wary of the 33 and beyond version.
  15. Which is pretty much the reasoning why I gave them a C.
  16. Yeah, it has to be noted the White Sox side of that deal wasn't much better.
  17. I really thought the Cubs pulled one over on the White Sox in the Kimbrel deal. In retrospect, maybe not so much.
