Still, there's just so little upside playing for one run in the seventh inning on a team with a leaky bullpen. -
Playing for one run is always a great idea in modern baseball, it never goes wrong!

As unfortunate as Steele leaving the game is, Wesneski is certainly getting the job done thus far.

Hoyer saying Steele kept trying to stretch his forearm and taking him out was a precaution.

I'm not convinced this is the same team that played the Reds.

He was shaking his arm a bit. I heard it but wasn't near the TV at the time. Maybe that was coincidental but if a pitcher is shaking their arm and then leaves the game, I think it's probably discomfort of some kind.

Definitely nothing to be concerned about there. A stud young pitcher coming out of a game early with arm/shoulder discomfort never leads to anything significant.

I assume they're concerned about Brown's usage, which means a a shift to the bullpen in 2023 makes sense for a variety of reasons. But I really want him to go back to starting as soon as possible.

When you comp Troy to Dozier, I assume you're comping the finished MLB product Dozier, not the slap-hitting mediocre prospect Dozier.

I've been watching a lot of losing baseball lately. It's not great. Please beat the very bad Reds who are putting a very bad pitcher on the mound today.

Trade him to the Twins, they need that kind of production from the bullpen.
