    Jones/Eyre/Patterson to the Redsox for Manny (cause they dont want him anymore) Sign Arod. Surgically remove Josh Becketts right arm and replace Prior's right arm with it. Offseason done. :P FIRE IT UP!

    In Chicago, I miss our 103.5 :cry: They actualy played Mandatory Metallica, and guess what, there were ablums released before the Black album! I used to look forward to 10:00pm and just jam for a half hour. Nobody in Chicago plays old Metallica now. It sucks. (Doesn't help their newest material for the past 10 years has sucked, but oh well) I live near WI so I get 95.1 Will Rock which plays Pantera, Godsmack, Ozzy, Metallica, Tool, and a lot of the "harder" acts I like to listen to. And the Loop kicks ass for sure!

    How about adding in the times Hawk & the rest of the Sox announcers say the player has the grit factor? The Erstad Quotient or something like that. How about any time the player played multiple positions? Like a certain someone who went from C to 2b to OF. Those guys can only be gritty to handle changes like that. I mean Adam Dunn switched to 1b because he clogs the outfield, but guys like Darren Erstad switched from OF to 1b because he has some GRIT baby! Erstad can probably play the whole infield if need be.

    I honestly dont think the Cubs will make any transactions until the sale is done. I am expecting the deal to go through after all the major free agents and trades will go down. Some time in Nov/Dec I think. This team sale is unprecedented. I think next years team will look very similar to this years team. I could be wrong (I hope I am) and the sale goes through early enough and quickly enough that the new owners have a chance to get their feet wet this offseason. I am not betting on it though.

    I bought the championship hat and white t-shirt on Friday night when the MLB.com website showed "In Stock." I got an email today that says they are back ordered & I will have to wait. Boooooooooooooooooooo! :cry: The series might be over by the time I get the stuff. In 03 I went to the NLCS (game 1, greatest game ever except they lost) and bought a program, hat, and the hoodie. I still wear the hat and hoodie.

    If we make the playoffs and he's on the roster I'll contemplate suicide. I don't think he'll be on the roster. I think we've seen the last of Trachsel as a Cub. That is until during tonights game the camera pans to him in the pen and Len & Bob quickly make excuses for him.

    Agreed. I wouldn't object if they kept both, but I consider the must-return relievers to be Wood, Marmol, and Howry. I would add Wuertz to that list if Marmol, Howry, or Wood will be replacing Demp as the closer.
