    Not a bad song, in fact one that is very good. Raining Blood - Slayer. We all know the apocalypse is upon us when the Cubs win it, so it will rain blood. A fitting song.

    his cap number was ridiculous for his production. plus zach bowman has played really well. Burton, if that comes as a surprise, you've done a bad job following the Bears this preseason (almost as bad a job as they've done playing this preseason). The beat writers have all been saying he was not in their plans this season and was likely to be cut or dealt. Yeah, I haven't been following them as close as I have in the past, I admit that. I thought his performance was much better, but on second look its terrible. And I thought his contract was ok, but on second look that was bad as well. I will do my best to keep up. :cry:

    We all know he was holding back. He didn't want to embarrass anyone by driving in 10 by himself.

    Except Lee's career numbers suggest this is an off year, while Theriot is head and shoulders above his career numbers. It's not out of the realm to think DLee can pick it up. It also not out of the realm to think of this as an off year.

    Fixed. Thanks for the post but it really doesn't matter. The fact they fail to see anything with regards to Sori and what his value is speaks to how clueless they really are. I gave them the team record and personal stats and it still doesn't register with them. No worries. So Pujols was out of the Cardinals lineup for awhile...should he get the nod over Soriano? By the way, the team record when Soriano was out also included a host of other injuries. Just so you know. I don't think anyone has mentioned that.

    They are waiting for him to pull a hammy first, then the team will go 0-5 without him, then go on a 15 game winning streak with him. The statue will be erected on 9/20/08. Fan appreciation weekend will be renamed Soriano weekend.

    I think to find out Dunn's real value we have to see what the teams W/L record is with him in the lineup and without him in the lineup. Plus we need to find out what Piniella and DeRo think about him.
