    hey bruno, does deron know who ej is yet? haha, i'm kind of kidding. Huh? i just remember a response you gave me last year when i was talking about deron williams's reaction to being asked about ej gordon. he said, "i don't know who that is", and you told me "he will very soon." ej is going to be a very good player in the league, though.

    Yeah this definitely concerns you Purdue fan. Wait around til someone says Purdue isn't a lock to be a 1 seed this year and piss your pants over it then. And what Indiana fan has said this team is going to be good at all? i believe there was talk about iu challenging for the conference title. most iu fans disagreed, but i think that it was mentioned by someone. others believe that iu will be a tourney team based on one good recruiting class playing their first year of college basketball. i can tell you that it's hard to do that, especially since i don't think crean's all that great of a coach, nor do i believe that weber is, either, for the record. crean parlayed a final four appearance 5 years ago into a top 5 job. he's a tireless recruiter, though.

    How shocking, an Illini fan with a negative view on Indiana basketball. Bruce Weber is still coaching Ilinois right? Just making sure. You do realize he doesn't have any Bill Self recruits left to lean on. they lost every single player they had and are going to have to depend upon freshmen next year, i think it's a pretty fair assessment, actually. and weber's 2010 class is the best class in the history of the program.

    if the buckeyes have a shot at a bcs title berth, regardless of when the game is played, the refs are going to give the benefit of the doubt to them, especially against a nobody like us.

    hardeman was guilty of hitting the ohio state guy too hard, and that's it. you can't someone from ohio state so hard if you aren't florida or usc or some other sec school that far outclasses them in every single way. nobody knows illinois even has a football team.

    again, illinois is not prestigious enough to get calls, even at home, against the great ohio state.

    how can they call a late hit if the ball was in the air and how can they call pass intereference if the pass was tipped? it's because if you are a team like illinois you have to play against more than just football players when you play the buckeyes. it's why they can't win against a top team outside the conference, because the refs aren't instructed to make sure they have a shot at the national championship when the game is over.

    i think it would probably take cedeno to get those two, though. he's younger and has a higher ceiling.

    it must be nice to be ohio state and penn state when you never get a penalty called on your team when you play lowly teams like illinois.
