The knock on Duke the past few years has been that they aren't athletic. However, they play solid on defense and know how to create shots on offense. Combine with that with an uncanny ability to draw fouls and they don't need to be real athletic. they aren't athletic for a duke team, but they're plenty athletic as far as the res of the country goes. GERALD HENDERSON SAYS "I GOT YOUR ATHLETICISM RIGHT HERE!" beat me to it.

Chester's fine as an off guard. He just shouldn't run the point or be your shooting guard. For those times when Brock's head is lodged firmly up his ass, DMac, Trent, and Chester is the best backcourt to go with right now. When Legion comes around, it's a case of whether you need Trent for his offense or Chester for his defense/rebounding. True, I just remember the ball dieing in his hands so many times last year. I wish Brock would get to see the floor with Demetri more. He made some good cuts when he was in there, but nobody saw him. Then it looked like he got frustrated and stuck his head up his butt like you said. i'm interested to see mccamey, brock, and legion on the court together. brock is one of the few players on this team who can get his own shot.

frazier is a good role player, he just better not be counted on to take the big shot or have the ball in his hands at the end of games. i can't tell you how many times last season that he'd get the ball with a slim lead late in the ball game, and just dribble around and wait to be fouled. chet, i admire your confidence, but you suck at shooting free throws, the other team WANTS the ball in your hands. not that anybody was particularly good at shooting free throws last year, but seriously. there's confident and then there's dumb. i guess it's bruce's fault, he probably encourages chet to do that.

i am watching the duke-siu game and duke literally saved the ball 3 times on 3 consecutive passes, just throwing it up in the air and siu couldn't get it. they just don't have the athletes.

I was wondering why nobody was commenting on the game. For once it pays to live in St. Louis. So far the offense has actually looked pretty good. They've gotten some good looks, especially Davis, just haven't been able to hit 'em, but I guess that's to be expected. what channel? ESPN360 if you get it. Otherwise Fox Sports Midwest or maybe South. i'm listening on the fan. i have fox college sports channel-central. not midwest, and my cable company has no contract with espn to carry 360, so i can't stream it.

Good get for you guys, I wonder if Chris wishes he would have been a little quicker with his decision though? that's what i was thinking. believe it or not, colvin's tale will be good for illini recruiting.

I don't think he will ever become dominant but I think he can be a 15 point scorer and top assist player. His shooting seems to need work but Keaton Grant went from a crappy 3-pt shooter to one of the Big Ten's top ones. and then he'd be deron williams, who was dominant. Deron Williams never even averaged 15 points per game. i know. lewjack is a nice little player and is a good fit at purdue, but i don't think anyone should expect him to be able to get his shot off consistently. he could be top 3 in assists year in and out, though.
