  1. 3rd and long, wide oipen over the middle, touchdown.
  2. this is an easy easy touchdown for them.
  3. why do they only have 14 points then? we have been lucky thus far, but now they are having their way with us.
  4. told you, game over. you can all go to sleep now.
  5. yep, we have no chance against this offense.
  6. also, since turner forgot to have plays that are geared towards making a first down, we have no shot on offense. so, in summation, no more first downs for us, first downs aplenty for them on third down. we won't stop them again on third until the game is well beyond winnable, book it.
  7. a dream scenario for the defense? are you kidding me? so predictable.
  8. how typical of a turner offense, just turns to milquetoast after they get a lead and they never ever get any first downs.
  9. it's a break because they lose a timeout and challenge. yes!!!!
  10. heroes on every down but third. it doesn't matter if you can't stop them on thrid.
  11. you gotta be effing kidding me. can we please get a stop on iaeurusrlvfdskjhdjfcligiygfeuyr2309ep09347ey38o third down????????????????? ahhihksahgkaygdulylfwqekyugdjsvdhjs!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  12. yeah, he's awesome against guys half as tall as he is, always has been.
  13. mahmoud abdul rauf imo but curry is a patriot so he'll stand up for the national anthem and he can tie his shoes in one try and he doesn't shout obscenities for no reason.
  14. going back a little way, for all of you youngsters, the name randolph childress comes to mind when i think of stephen curry.
  15. he's clever enough with the ball and he has a quick enough shot to get it off in the nba, at least i think he does. if you look at him and then look at jj redick when he came out, who looks like a better prospect? curry by a mile, because he can create his own shot and he looks like he might actually be able to run the point. I think he looks like a less muscular version of Ben Gordon. Quick with a quick release and a great shot. if you take ben gordon's strength away, he wouldn't be nearly the same player, though. and i don't think that curry is very quick at all, at least not nba quick. really? he seems really quick to me. maybe it's as much cleverness and body control as quickness, but i think he can hang in the nba in that department. the only thing is he's going to have to be able to shoot a high percentage in the nba, cause he won't be able to defend bigger point guards at all. i could see him as kind of like the kevin martin of point guards, maybe. i think it's the cleverness, or resourcefulness with the ball in his hands. he just seems to know which way to go and how to get his man in the air and when to shoot. it's not quickness at all. i mean, if you look at the guys playing for UNC or UConn---that's quickness, that's ungodly quickness. he's just very decisive and wise with the ball, although after turning th ball over 8 times last game, i don't know how much water that sentiment holds right now.

  17. just to weigh in on curry, i think he's a great college player, he's a terrific shooter that has a very natural feel for the game. he's got this rythm, this strange ability to predict where a defending player is going and how long to hesitate, when to fake, when to go up with the shot, when to take the ball to the hole, when to shoot......etc. however, he isn't very explosive, he's not particularly quick, he's not big, and he's not physical. i don't see him being a star in the nba. i've seen it before, and in major conferences. let's not get carried away on the kid.
  18. evan turner is so good he makes my eyes bleed and i want to throw up all over my tv and poop on my coffee table and then fly to pennsylvania and slap my mama. i hate you so much thad matta, i'll also get you for this,
  19. but but but but he was the big ten potw!!!!!!
  20. Which bar? The Union The shame of it is just that he didn't have a teammate or friend to get him home, make him throw up and put him to bed. i was gonna guess the union, we always used to drive up there and drink before we turned 21 because they never card anyone.
  21. and i see no reason why you can't shut the hell up. I hadn't really seen it from your vantage. haha. but seriously, worry about your own team because i don't think they can beat either of the aforementioned.
  22. oh noes witten was doing nothing on that play and was wide open down the field.
  23. Montgomery said after the game that Mizzou is the type of team that he just doesn't like to face(pressing, athletic bigs, etc), so I think part of it was just being a bad matchup for Cal and the home atmosphere helping things spiral out of control. That said, Mizzou killed them, they didn't get within 10 points after the 14:50 mark of the first half. Illinois and @Georgia are the two big games left in the non-conference, and given the season so far I'm optimistic we can be 13-2 or 14-1 when conference play rolls around. you should be optimistic about being 13-2 but don't be insane, plz. Of all people, you should understand. I mean, the last few years we've practically won, right? if misery breaks the curse of arthur johnson this year, i'll buy you coke.
  24. and i see no reason why you can't shut the hell up.
