  3. they are trying to establish that run.
  4. delhomme has made 3 very bad throws. the one that was behind moose which he caught, the pi pass to smith, and that one.
  5. orakpo, plz. trade up, do anything.
  6. turn around, rolle. delhomme can't throw a long ball to save his life anymore, that was any easy pick.
  7. touchdown cards!
  8. fitzgerald, wow.
  9. edge, you're finished.
  10. i want carolina to go down hard, i want jordan gross to come to chicago, and i want moose to fall off the face of the earth.
  11. Illinois has been on probation 3 times to my knowledge, twice for football (late 80's, 2004ish) and once for basketball (mid-90s). You can fault Bob Knight (err, I mean Coach Knight) for a lot of things, but running a clean program was always priority #1. Kelvin Sampson, however, is in himself a dirty program. they also had a huge scandal in the 60s that put both FB and BB on probation. I am not trying to validate Indiana, just pointing out that Illinois has had a pretty shaky history and has no room to trash other programs. i don't think you'll get any grief over today's iu program. however, sampson was a scumbag who blatantly cheated, got caught and then got fired, reluctantly by the school so they could lessen any punishment the ncaa might impose upon them. he did this at oklahoma and was still hired, apparently because iu had had such a hard time at locking down the state in terms of recruiting. he was essentially hired to get ej gordon and pick up the recruiting by any means necessary and he was doing an excellent job of it. if iu wasn't so afraid of being hammered with sanctions, they would have never gotten rid of him. i'm sure that they weighed the reality of losing ebanks against the sting of probation before they fired him, it must have been a very difficult decision for them, and i'm absolutely sure that it was.
  12. okay, i'm watching the illini legends thingy and i'm trying to fgure out if i'm seeing bryant notree or not. i'm pretty sure it is. nicj anderson gained a little weight.
  13. wow, i think i'm in love with that jobe guy. he's hilarious-looking.
  14. just to make all you illini fans happy, including all you folks who complain about them: dj richardson scored a qualifying 19 on the ACT.
  15. tim tebow will be the first player to win the heisman trophy on two, non-consecutive occasions.
  16. Oh give him a break. He was probably the best dl on the bears last year he's never been any good. He was pretty good at Florida back in the days of the primordial pre-Tebow history of NCAA football. yeah, but i don't care how he played at florida, it didn't benefit me as a fan at all. if he could actually do what he's supposed to do i would like him. He's not the most talented de on the bears but he is consistently above average. I personally thought he was playing at a pro bowl level in 2005. Had a bad year in 06 and half of 07. Was good last year. I can sense we won't agree though i think he's been pretty much very consistent every year.

  19. bradford looked stiff, small, and illiterate in this game.
  20. alex brown sighting. that's as close to a qb as he's gotten in years.
  21. wow, they can't stop that shovel. this game is over. jeez.
  22. i like it. it's not an audible, the formation is called in the huddle, the plays are called from the sidelines.
  23. i was thinking almost the same thing but with other players and on ncaa 09. that was a video game play.
  24. That's just nuts and it was Harvard's first win ever against a ranked team and it proves that they are the best team in the country and that illinois isn't good at all.
  25. well, it looks like harvard is better than north carolina which makes iowa even more relevant than ever before.
