  3. he's the #1 player easily in that class. if we can get him, parker, and foster goodnight. everything is fine
  4. we all know how good the heat are going to be we don't need to be reminded bye
  5. and they're going to be bad, yes yes we know.

  7. when i lived in seattle i used to go to this irish bar that always had the gaelic football games on. that place would get hella crowded during those things. i must admit, it looks pretty rad.
  8. sure he is. the bulls were a terrible outside shooting team last year and that's what he brings. they were a pretty good mid-range team already, they're decent on the interior defensively if not offensively and they're maybe the best rebounding team in basketball. i think the bulls win at least 50 this year and redick and korver will be a big part of it.
  9. the score guys are acting z can't be fixed because he has all of these deep-seated issues when in actuality, we don't need to fix him, we just need to get him to stop taking swings at his teammates. if they focused on that, i think they'd be fine.
  10. yeah he can play with us for a few more years instead of taking all the tread thats left off his tires in one year.
  11. agree, there are so many ways to circumvent it. best to just do it like hockey.
  12. looks like the cavs are going to get two firsts and two seconds out of this. miami, in year six of the deals is going to be at nearly 90 mil for three players. if they use the mle six times at six years, that's 36 mil. 126 mil, lets say. then, they're paying 56 mil in luxury tax just on those 9 players. 182 mil for a 9 player team.
  13. but he'll have to pay the city's tax on puffy directing pants.
  14. and JR stated that Lebron only requested that they hire his trainer, which the Bulls agreed to do.
  15. I will only admit to him being a step or two behind Williams, not that he is a worse point guard. does not compute
  16. Are you kidding me, SSR? Gimme a break. I didn't say Rose was better, all I said was Rose wasn't a "worse point guard." If you are talking about "worse point guard" I assume you are talking about guys like Toney Douglas, Baron Davis, Andre Miller, Rajon Rondo, Jameer Nelson, etc. Derrick is a step behing Deron, just like Deron is a step behind Chris Paul, but Derrick has the talent to at least reach Deron Williams status, if not surpass it. I agree with you completely. While most may say that Deron Williams is a better point guard now, I think most would also agree that Rose could easily become a better point guard than Williams is. Rose is already a top 5 point guard in the league at age 21 and is a few years from his prime still. In 2-3 years he will probably be the best point guard or at least in the same category as Chris Paul. this year he'll be in the same category as paul. the question is if he's in the same category as williams, which he isn't.
  17. isn't iggy a beast on d?
  18. the sharks already signed a finnish goaltender to start for them. niemi would be pointless since he's the same exact goalie.
  19. over at fear the fin, they seem to be thinking there's a chance we won't match. they also think if we do match, they'll get seabrook next year.
  20. 3.5 will probably seem like a bargain for him in a couple years, we need to match. plus, wasn't that around what cam barker got?
  21. and we'll all be very proud of you for it
  22. why couldn't we have gotten 3 first rounders for versteeg?
  23. Also allows Miami to get back Haslem and Wright using Bird rights. They're waiting for Mike Miller and they contacted Jason Williams to play for minimum. It does? That blows. Haslem is a real piece. I hope someone outbids them for Mike Miller. If they get Shaq or Brad to take the minimum they're going to be set. They won't use the bird rights on Haslem or Wright. In order to have the money to sign the big 3 they have to renounce those rights. They may try to sign them to the minimum or with whatever they have left, but those bird rights are gone. yeah, i was running it through in my mind. there are cap holds that would prevent anything like that from happening. you can't fill up your roster with free agents and then sign your own guys and expect to be able to exercise their bird rights, anyway.
