  2. http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/breakingnews/Lundar-resident-faces-charges-over-911-calls-98975869.html the funniest part of that is the thought that he is just now noticing that the jets are gone. shouldn't he have been doing this 14 years ago?
  3. and also i'd rather watch roast's vlog than read a bleacher report article.
  4. http://techrights.org/files/trolltracker/20080528154853/troll.gif good one doesn't do me justice. http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSUvOs2jEzSlEC5VegCZ7ncyP73vppok5F00EzbuWx9at-ylb4&t=1&usg=__8BS3eziqSKnbrLdgxr_ZVNJXFGE= that's better
  5. it would suck because then steve stone could return and be all assy
  6. nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
  7. my favorite moment is when dan hamhuis acted all hurt after hossa gave him a little push and he dove headlong into the boards!
  8. if they could have traded campbell, they would have done it by now. the problem being that anyone who'd be willing to take him to get to the cap floor is terrible and he would never accept a trade to. but it would be painful to trade him now after we traded everyone else. campbell is not a dead-weight contract. he's a very good player worth about half what he's making. those bonuses hurt more than campbell's contract did, i wish we could find someone willing to pay half his deal in exchange for the opportunity to touch the cup.
  9. yeah, the ship has sailed on randle, but who knows? the old bill self dump-truck-full-of-money-express may be making a tour stop in the QUAD CITIES!
  10. picked this up on the scout boards. shows just how dominating pippen was on both sides of the floor in every facet of the game. definitely one of the top all-around players of all time, maybe the best defensive player. he really was the heart and soul of the doberman defense.
  11. bummer for the hawks.
  12. no one cares about the lightning or the flyers, either.
  13. no one cares about the devils, just the crazy deal that kovalchuk signed.
  14. this is mine: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v519/suleyman21/buff.jpg
  15. but jordan was insanely competitive and lebron is just a clown.
  16. it's great for golf when guys you've never heard of and never asked to hear of win the british open!
  17. You do if your top player is LeBron, Kobe, or Wade. Rose is not the type of player who will be the man on a championship winning team. He is a great player, but not good enough to do that. If he has that jump shot down like he says (I'm skeptical until I see it) he may be. Last season, Rose was the something like the best PG in the league at shooting inside the arc. http://www.hoopdata.com/player.aspx?name=Derrick%20Rose yeah, his mid-range game is pretty top-notch.
  18. http://www.theonion.com/articles/despite-repeated-attempts-to-tear-it-down-massive,17737/ not really bulls related, but ridiculously amusing.
  19. emphasis on the desperately
  20. the strong, silent type.
  21. Nothing Rose said would have ever gotten LeBron here. So with that in consideration... do you want our franchise player to be a guy begging for the services of an ego-maniac, or do you want him to be a guy saying "[expletive] that, I'm the man and I'm gonna show everybody by doing it myself" Rose has the attitude of a real competitor, just like Durant. They want to beat the best, not join them. Now, can Rose be that guy? I don't know, but I'm really glad he thinks he can be. I'm not saying Rose getting involved would have gotten LeBron here, but just [expletive] do it if it could help. There's a huge gulf between begging and what the article describes, though who gives a [expletive] if he had kissed some ass? Do what's best for your team and the bottom line is that getting LeBron would have been great for the Bulls. The confidence is great, but really, whoopdy-[expletive]-doo. [expletive] this [expletive] of "oh man, it's so awesome he didn't kiss LeBron's ass." [expletive] it, he should have been licking LeBron AND Wade's taints even if it just seemed like a sliver of a chance they would come to the Bulls. If he did that and this still went down as it did, oh well, go and kick the [expletive] out of them on the court. Doing nothing was just dumb, and all this talk about his 3-point shot better not be [expletive]. if he wasn't going to get lebron here anyways, i'm happier that he remained stoic, though.

  23. we're gonna need a bigger boat. find any way that you can to ship deng and make a run at carmelo, that's it, that is literally all that you can do to ensure competition with the heat.
