    the more i hear, the more i think urlacher should by no means get more than 3 million per. maueluga is very bad but he's not injured and old.

    i want hassellbeck, he's a guy that can actually play quarterback without being micromanaged like a mothereffer. and bernsy and holmes seem to think pompei's column indicates that the bears want urlacher to retire.

    i just have to think that illinois will overperform in the tourney, i think groce will have them fired up. but that is extreme wishful thinking. a huge bonus was playing in the brutal big ten all year, against well-disciplined, well-coached, and very deliberate teams. i don't think there's a chance that colorado is a better defensive team than most of the teams we played this year in the big ten. we could easily lose, but we could beat them handily while controlling the game.
