but, he's young, he seems to be a recruiter, he's pulled out a highly-rated (for a mid-major) chicago kid before. he may have agreed to allow jerrance to remain on and robert smith to come in as an assistant. i'm not a huge believer in the "cabal-of-recruiters" approach, but if it will help us keep james and hill, add parker and schilling, and keep the guys who are there now, he could do at illinois what matta did at ohio state. that will be a strtech, though.
