  1. Good loss. Had this as a win but now you can lower your final win prediction to about 4 or 5 wins. Schedule gets much tougher now.
  2. Let Fields throw, who cares if you lose?
  3. Glad the only WR they took is a 25 year old that can only play offense on gadget plays and can't catch punts
  4. Just lose this game, no way should this team deserve to be 3-3
  5. Trying to find a way the Bears could lose this game but not seeing it. Commanders are a terrible team on a short week on the road. If the Bears do lose though, they probably knock my projection of 6 wins down to 5 which might be a huge difference given how bunched up the league looks.
  6. Really started to feel like 2011/2012 with the Cardinals repeatedly coming off the mat with 1 strike left in their season. It's weird, Goldy and Arenado were the complete opposite of a Cardinals star in October. Those two completely horsefeathers the bed.
  7. But they didn't do those things, and you knew that going into this season. Why are we still talking about what they didn't do? They are a 5-12 team with Pickens or Cooper, and they wouldn't be any more watchable with a QB getting hurried on half his dropbacks. You have to give your QB something to work with. They hire a defensive head coach, they didn't use a top draft pick on a WR when they had two 2nd rounders, and they didn't sign any WR's of notes to help him out. Look at what the Jags did for Trevor Lawrence and until today, he's looked like the guy we expected.
  8. The Bears being barren of talent was a crutch that they put on themselves. They could have drafted an offensive player with one of their 2nd round picks. We'd all be pretty excited if we had George Pickens right now. They could have signed a WR too or traded for one. Amari Cooper went for nothing and the Bears have the cap room to absorb his cap hit. I'm okay with the Bears being a 5-12 team if it means drafting JSN and having the $100 million to spend. But this team should be more watchable on offense.
  9. It is what it is. Yes they are hurting their draft position for very little short-term gain but man Chicago sports is in dire straights so its nice to get a little endorphin boost every once in awhile. Chicago sports is in dire straights because all their teams refuse to tank or refuse to be good, like the Cubs are doing now
  10. Love to help the Cardinals win the NL Central and the Brewers make the playoffs. And pick 12th in the draft when they were 2nd like 3 months ago.
  11. I actually didn't mind running out the clock there given how awful Fields has looked
  12. Maybe the Bears should have hired an offensive head coach
  13. Might want to start watching college QB's
  14. This is worse than I thought
  15. Didn't notice it Week 1 but Roquan looks very out of shape and slow
  16. Packers passing game is ass but I expect them to run all over the Bears. Might be a 200 rushing yard night.
  17. The Cubs play 1 winning team the rest of the way. Wonder who the 12th best player in the upcoming draft is.
  18. Thanks Trey Lance, guy is a bust
  19. It was never all Nagy's fault
  20. Fields looks just as bad as last year, I know 49ers are good but yikes
  21. Hughes isn't doing radio either
  22. F*** the Diamondbacks and Rockies for handing the Cardinals 2 MVP candidates for nothing
  23. It’s been pretty fun this month. Obviously it sucks to miss out on a top pick but I don’t hate the potential outcome of the Cubs playing well to finish the season and getting a lot of positive momentum going into the offseason. 2 of the big SS FAs (Correa and Turner) have already come out and said they aren’t going to a rebuilding team. Hopefully a strong finish gives the appearance of a team that’s not too far off. I don't think winning meaningless games has ever had any impact on the next season. Especially when this team doesn't really have many future pieces. Like guys like Drew Smyly, Adrian Sampson, Patrick Wisdom, and even Willson Contreras (who might be gone next year) shouldn't be on any actual good Cubs teams yet they've been big contributors. And picking below top 10 in the Draft would be a huge failure in a year that they were done by May. Not saying they need to be #1 or even top 5 but when it's all said and done with the lottery. May not seem bad now but we'll cringe at it when the draft comes around in July.
