Well, with the Dolphins done until round 3, I have officially lost most of my reason to pay any attention for a while.

Saban has been good drafting SEC guys so far, I'll definitely give him the benefit of the doubt. The biggest weakness defensively, and what kept the Dolphins from being a top 10 defense, was the secondary. They've done a TON about that, signing Goodman, Allen, Hill, Cooper, resigning Bell, and now drafting Allen. I thought they'd go Cromartie becuase of his freakish physique and the potential to play at safety or on the corner, but Allen works just as well and is more polished. Clemmons sounds like a solid QB choice, but I don't see them doing that, seeing as they've already got Culpepper, a tentative agreement with Harrington pending his trade/release from Detroit, and Brock Berlin in NFLE. Greenway is a good pick for Minnesota.

I'd like Walker, but not for a #1. Considering his age (compared to the draftees), injury, and 'character" issues, I wouldn't consider that a value move. Jason Allen. That's the other safety I was trying to remember. I'm a little surprised, but I'm feeling good about the secondary now.

The OL isn't that bad, and they handled their biggest issue (left tackle) in free agency. As for the wideouts, Chambers is the only deep threat, and if he gets hurt, the Dolphins are in enormous trouble. I expect, if they keep this pick, the dolphins to pick Jackson, Cromartie, or Justice.

Hmm, getting close to the Dolphins' #16 pick, and there are a *lot* of good players still out there. Both of the top receivers, Justice, Bunkley, Greenway, Lawson, Cromartie, etc. I'm really hoping they find a way to trade down at this point.
