I have no idea what you're talking about in your last few posts then. It's ridiculous to compare Flacco and Sanchez. Then you make a post attempting to say that it's not ridiculous, and saying we all have short memories. Only it's still a ridiculous comparison, so I haven't the foggiest idea what you're trying to say. Because he wasn't comparing them as quarterbacks in 2012/2013. He was responding to a quote that stated Flacco "just proved that he can win a super bowl and play at a very high level when it matters most." He was making a statement about the argument that being so-so and "stepping it up" in the playoffs represents enough value to sign a quarterback to an enormous contract, which should be obvious to anyone with a shred of common sense. Your attempt at reducing that to "YOU CAN'T COMPARE SANCHEZ TO FLACCO CUZ SANCHEZ IZ BAD LOL" is laughable at best. Hell, Sanchez being bad only serves to aid his point. If Sanchez is bad, yet the Jets went to consecutive conference championship games with him, then maybe the value of a mid-tier quarterback is being overstated? Same with goony saying Alex Smith sucks. If he sucks, yet the Niners were a fumble away from going to the Super Bowl with him at QB, then maybe retaining a quarterback who isn't elite at elite pricing isn't the best investment? I don't even agree with his position on Flacco, but I'm not being purposely hardheaded and distorting his position.
