  1. He made a big step forward last year and might have made it to AA by the end of the season (probably not, though) if he hadn't gotten hurt. His step forward this year is even bigger, though. His BABIPs as a pro are .358, .337, .347, and .340. His ISO are .119, .081, .145, and .197. His BB% are 4.3, 4.1, 5.3, 10.2. His K% are 22.6, 19.5, 17.0, 20.3. He was 7/10, 8/16, 25/29, and 15/16 as a base stealer over those four years. Looks like pretty steady progress from where I stand.
  2. So what's his ceiling? How excited should I be on him? Depends, do you find a shortstop who's on pace to hit 20+ homers and steal 35+ bases at over 90% accuracy while in 600 PAs as a 21 year old in AA exciting?
  3. Alcantara's BB% just hit 10.2.
  4. Between Zastryzny and Szczur, we've pretty much got the Z market cornered.
  5. If you're making a fantasy lineup for 2015, why Barney? Move Alcantara to 2nd or something.
  6. I've seen "AA" a few times here of late, are we talking Almora or Alcantara? A.Al. I can't be the only one confused as to how everybody was just like "ok" at this when it didn't actually clear up anything, can I?
  7. Is he anything? I've tried searching for scouting reports a few times and haven't found anything, so I took that as a bad sign. Given his age, I don't believe so. I know he has a pretty good cutter but know nothing else about him. Looks like he lost a year somewhere down the line. TJS maybe?
  8. The weirdest part is that it goes to 50. It's like people were so bored they just had to vote on something.
  9. It may be a coincidence, but I loved how it immediately turned around right after there was that story that one of the coaches noticed something in his swing on video and they fixed it. I want our organization to be making players better like that. Outman is kind of an awesome name for a pitcher. It's almost as awesome as Balfour is bad.
  10. Would have liked one of those safeties or Scott. Alvin Bailey and Tyler Bray are still out there. Bray appears to be close to signing with Miami, and I hope the same happens with Bailey.
  11. Dennis Johnson also to Houston. Lots of comp for that 3rd RB slot.
  12. Finally Cobi Hamilton. Shocked Alvin Bailey hasn't gone off the board. There was talk of him in the 2nd.
  13. Rogers has first round physical talent. You have to wonder just how bad the character concerns are with this dude that nobody will touch him this late.
  14. Cornelius Washington is great value in the mid-6th.
  15. I wanted Kasa later if the Dolphins hadn't gotten Sims. I just realized I missed a perfect opportunity to make a terrible "mi Kasa es su Kasa" joke here.
  16. Just doesn't seem like a good fit for Chip Kelly's offense. He's about the worst athlete amongst this year's QB crop. Maybe Kelly is planning more of a Mike Leach or Belichick spread system? Barkley can be a fit, but I'd be a bit worried if I were an Eagle fan. And I think an argument can be made that Bray is a worse athlete. http://assets.sbnation.com/assets/2225803/lolandry.gif
  17. So...the dolphins traded 82 for 102 and 106, then they traded something to get back into the 3rd at 93. Wonder who they want.
  18. Beautiful.
  19. Yeah, how was that not Rambo?
  20. Very experienced. Started at LT for 3 years, moved to LG as a senior. Could play either position, though I like him at LG, because he doesn't have great feet. Good technique though. Really held up a lot better than I expected against the big boys inside in the SEC (Jenkins- UGA, Williams- Bama, etc). I'd take Martin over him at LT. But at LG, I think he could be pretty solid. Probably not a probowler, but a guy that's going to be good in pass pro and be able to get out in space in the run game. Sounds good. Meanwhile Miami traded its second 3rd for 2 4ths. They pick 3 times in the first 12 picks tomorrow.
  21. Dew, tell me about Dallas Thomas. I slept on him.
  22. Dolphins on the clock, and I have no idea what direction they're going. OL? Brennen Willaims? Schwenke? Barrett Jones? Terron Armstead? WR maybe? Patton, Allen, Swope? Safety's an option, but all the safeties I liked are gone now. The TEs I like would be a reach at this point. And they pick again in 5 picks, too.
  23. Still not impressed by their draft. Good players, but it's not going to help them next year. To be fair, almost nothing matters with them but better QB play.
