For this transaction, Seth shall get nothing and like it! I cannot believe you aren't coming to the memorial day drinking in the bleachers extravaganza. Someone in your family had better be having a baby/getting married/graduating from flight school/dying. I'm working on a little something. is that so?
Jones and Murton blew that inning. speaking of which, is Jones back in CF? one would assume so, but the pirate announcers havent' bothered to mention jones back to CF

I'd bet anything it belongs to Barry Bonds, but I'm not sure the record is. Ted Williams, 84 games in 1949. Please hand over all of your possessions. Since you live in Iowa City, it should be an easy transaction. I get half for being here at the time.
I agree, what a bonehead decision. Cost us the game today. :? We won some games with Dusty coaching too. Doesn't mean he made nothing but good decisions in those. Edit: I am upset I haven't seen Lou get tossed yet, though. He's waiting until May 28.
Ron Santo made his return to the radio booth today. I wouldn't have started a thread on this, though, if it weren't for this line in the Cubs.com article on it: Uh, Carrie, thats what we call cutting back on road trips.
Probably not what you're looking for, but "How Soccer Explains the World" by Franklin Foer is a pretty good read. Relates political/social situations in different places and how they are manifested in soccer in those places. Bingo. That's what it was. I had that title in my mind but I couldn't remember for sure. Thanks. I have it. it's great.
The worst part is that the only major improvements being made are that the Fullerton and Belmont platforms will be handicap accessible. And slightly cleaner. As for getting there, gates open 2 hours before opening pitch. if you show up 3 hours before first pitch, you'll probably get a front row seat. if you show up 2 hours before first pitch, you'll sit in the second or third row and won't have sat on your ass on a concrete sidewalk for at least an hour.
