    really! what's Dusty's deal with Holla? Murton hasn't started since his 4 hit game last week! And Cedeno.. poor guy needs to be sent down for refresher training... sickening, it is! Left field is too difficult a defensive position to allow a rookie to play it. only in Dusty's mind.. or lack of Maybe if you'd "been there" you'd "know" that it was true. Holly can't sit on the bench and get cold, y'know.

    Not at Wrigley it isn't. Not at most ball parks in fact. I don't care where it is. If a fan wants to keep a homerun ball the other fans shouldn't try to pressure or threaten him to throw it back. Then dont go to Wrigley. Every place has its traditions and pressures. Just because it has gone on for a long time doesn't make it acceptable behavior. who cares what other people in Wrigley say/think? if you want the ball, keep it. if you want to throw it back in the spirit of Wrigley, go for it. that man made the decision...he certainly looks old enough to be accountable for his own actions/emotions. Well said, puppet. I'm obviously kidding.

They probably haven't been drinking heavily in the outfield for more than the last few years either.

    Consider it payment. You get to watch a game in the greatest ballpark in the world in exchange for having to throw back ~50% of the home run balls hit there.
