    So it's more likely to be scheduled for a mutal off day later in the year? I think it's more likely they schedule a regular doubleheader. But then again, if this storm continues to pass and the outfield holds up ok, this game may start at 9 or so. Which would be great, because I live next to the park. And I could pick up a ticket from a scalper for a buck after a two hour rain delay. And sit wherever I want. not that I'm bragging.

    They can't make it a day-night doubleheader because that means they'd have to make it up as a night game. The Cubs have a preset number of night games per year.

    Macias will probably get at least one start in LF. Macias hasn't started a game in left field yet this year. Why do you think he will now ? Because, people from Chicago always think the sports cup is half empty. Some people see the glass as half full Others see it as half empty Cubs fans worry about when the glass will tip over. Weather permitting, we will have history made tonight at the Friendly Confines and we're talking about Macias. Weather Bug says there is a 40% chance of showers between 7pm and 9pm CST. After 9pm the chance of showers drops to 30%. More than likely, this game will not be interrupted due to inclimate weather. WeatherBug is crappy adware.

    most annoying commercial anywhere IMO. its always relative because the most annoying commercial always seems to be what is on right now. for me right now its every commercial, promo, cut away, seque, etc. for ESPN 50*50 where they play that really lame song by Bryan Adams (is it Bryan Adams? if so, nice to have a Canadian singing the theme song for the series about the 50 states) Ok. Let me ask you, then. Can you come up with something stupider than "RBI stands for 'really big ice cream'"?

    I swear to god, if I ever find out what marketing moron came up with the "RBI stands for 'really big ice cream'" thing, I'll hunt him down and string him up by his ankles. It's got to be the most inane thing I've ever heard.

    He just tripped. I don't think that the minor league coaches should be blamed for that. there are people with more physical limitations than a professional athlete who could have ran the bases better than that. Stephen hawking?

    Gah! The 80's! Actually, I like 80's music. :oops: No worries. I love 80's music. The cheesiness makes it good! I thought the 80's were pretty good times. Having said that, I get good laughs out of picture of me from those days. :lol: As do I, but then again I was born in 1981. I have to say, my parents were definitely good at outfitting me in very short shorts.
