    I think they should keep it as the Illini but change the reference from the Illini (the Indian tribe) to the Illini (people who curently live in Illinois). And the new mascot should be a mild-mannered guy in a suit.

    not that long. After that big chunk moves through it looks like smooth sailing. I'd say the game will get underway an hour late. Which is not nearly late enough.

    I just called my buddy, who's a Cards fan and is going to the game today, and told him the news. he just laughed. he loves Dusty Baker.

    That looks like Macias is at 2B. Good thinking Dusty, Walker's only 5 for his last 13, and 5 for his last 15 against LHP. Oh, and Walker had a day off 3 games ago. Actually, replace Burnitz with Nomar, move Macias to RF, and slide Perez to 2B, and that's the correct lineup. I misheard it. It's still bad, though.     I have also very much been enjoying listening to the WGN post-game show and the talk show afterward. they've just been making fun of the Cubs non-stop.
