    Coming into this game Heyward was hitting .233 with a .281 OBP in 8 games since taking over the leadoff spot again. Overall on the year hitting first heading into today he was at .164 with a .203 OBP.

    Yup. 4-6 is also probably “fine.” Face Bauer, Gray, Castillo and Nola. It’s technically a 4 city trip with no off days because next Sunday vs the Pirates they play at the LLWS. But let’s do 6-4. If we want to win the division it has to be better than 4-6 and 5-5 The Reds are a losing team, the Phillies are 26-34 thier last 60 games and the Pirates are in a total freefall right now. The same time we are playing this trip the Cardinals are playing the Pirates, Royals and Reds for 9 to get back winning and the Brewers just got right sweeping the Pirates.

    You guys apparently need to watch more baseball as every year guys get traded to contenders and see major boots in performances. Its amazing how you idiots are willing to go full [expletive] on other subjects because you got triggered by me saying Russell should be on the team. Additional names from last year are Kevin Gausman 4.43 with the O's heads to Atlanta and has a under 3 ERA in 10 starts. Brach went from a 4.85 to a 1.52. Ryan Pressly went from a 3.40 ERA to 0.77. The Cubs just last year got Hamels 2.36 ERA in 12 starts Chavez 1.15 ERA in 32 games De La Rosa 1.17 ERA in 17 games Garcia got bombed in a spot start but they got him for the BP and he posted a 1.23 ERA in his 7 games out of the pen.

    Needing a ton of help for the WC isn't a pennant chase. My point is guys getting to go to legit contenders can be a spark and turn back the clock. Which is 100% a fact and happens every year despite you idiots wanting to argue otherwise. But If I said it was a horsefeathers pick up you fools would be here talking how great it is.
