  1. November 24th, 1996 over Detroit. They did beat the Washington 31-15 in 2019.
  2. Don't forget the best part of that game - Leonys Martin robbing DeJong of a game tying homer to end the game and the Cards' season.
  3. Terrible ab from Moises. Young player trying to do too much.
  4. The Mets are having the collapse that so many Cubs' fans are convinced the Cubs are having.
  5. Fangraphs and B-R really disagree on Santana when it comes to WAR, with FG giving him 28.8, really disliking his defense, but B-R having him at 39.2.
  6. You know what? Bring in Brown. The Cubs are pretty much locked into the WC, hopefully the top spot, but whatever. Screw it, give Brown a chance. It's going to be Kittredge though.
  7. Back on? He ain't coming off.
  8. He was decent in the first inning in his last outing (3K, 1BB). It was the second inning where things went wrong. Also, this is Brown's first outing since May 31st where he didn't give up a run.
  9. Fun with arbitrary end points: If you go from August 1st the Cubs have had a .669 OPS (not counting tonight).
  10. LOLDodgers. Could you imagine the meltdown on here if they lost a no-no on the final out, only for the bullpen to then completely blow the game?
  11. He got lit up on the 5th by the Reds and gave up the tying homer on Friday. Between that 5.2 ip, no ER, .64 fip
  12. Angels' fans weren't lying Tucker likes playing the Angels.
  13. They need to Willie Mays Hayes him and make him do push ups every time he strikes out looking.
  14. I missed whatever the horsefeathers this is about, but I'd compare the current situation more to going to a concert and hoping the band plays my favorite songs, only for the band somehow completely forgetting how to play their instruments. I guess what I'm saying is that I think the Cubs are all on heroin.
  15. The Rockies also now have 2 shutouts. The first was against the Cards in July, as noted above. The second was yesterday. Against the Cards.
  16. I don't mind the Soroka trade, but it couldn't be your only move for a starter.
  17. Well huh, Lodolo coming out. Just indicated to the dugout.
  18. This is certainly a line up. I was thinking they'd give PCA a night off against the lefty. I would swap Happ and Kelly.
  19. While we're paying fun box scores, I'll throw in this from yesterday's Braves-Reds game:
