    It's like the TV series from a few years ago, Early Edition (which was set in Chicago). They get tomorrow's newspaper today. Except over there it's delivered by a kangaroo rather than a cat. :D Classic. I did enjoy the show, to a point... only he didn't abuse the power enough.

    Yeah, probably a team that isn't going to be competitive next year so they want some attraction to draw people in... Possibly: Colorado Tampa Bay Florida? KC? or Minaya is an idiot and signs him, one of the two.

    I would like to point out that there are only 4 players in bold and they are all pitchers... And I don't know how you say Brad Radke is a marquee FA but Jason Schmidt isn't...

    Throw a couple more arms at Tampa and get Lugo and Huff. Done. We land Lugo and Huff then Bradley and I will be one happy camper. Do you guys think Tampa will be more reasonable than during the season when they were supposedly asking for Z before talking about Huff? Their GM Lamar was fired, so, yes.

    The Bears will win this game, the D will complete dominate Favre and the Packers while TJ and Adrian chew up the lack of defense. Orton just needs to be smart and let the RB's do their thing while he hits the smart passes.

    Also: A lot of people expected Sosa to have this type of year. He was coming off 2 down years and was showing how poor of an attitude he has. Thome meanwhile was a pure money dump, not and attitude dump. He can still have a really good season and be a real help to his team. The situations are much different.

    I was born into it but didn't really become a megafan until 2003. That year plus the discovery of websites like this one really brought me into it completely. Now I'm obsessed... thanks Tim.

    What a first game. I don't remember much of my first game, except for Andre Dawson singled and they won. I think they played the Pirates? I'm pretty sure it was 1992. But they should show that game on ESPN Classic from time to time. Definately one of the best regular-season games I've ever seen. That was just nuts. I also remember that day because my dad came home about the 4th inning or so because he lost his job. But he has a good one now, so it's all cool. I don't remember my first game, I did go to a game in 2001 where Sammy hit 3 homers and GMJr made that great sliding barehanded over the head catch.

    I can see why. Most Phillies fans dislike him and while he may be a good, but fragile, player, he does seem a bit egotistical...
