Samardizja is also projected to go ahead of him-in fact, I hate this bitterly because most mock drafts have Samardizja going to the Patriots in the first round. :( I'm curious if the Bears have given any thought to drafting Samardzija. Lord knows they probably won't pick defense yet again. Another WR that I forgot to list. If the Pack were to draft him, I wouldn't feel nearly as bad if he spurns the Cubs :wink: Carolina needs to draft Smith just for the confusion factor.

I just want to say, however, that the jerks on ESPNews yestaurday that were trying to find a divide in the locker room between the defense and offense due to Rex's poor play need to be kicked. One of the questions by the host to the reporter at Soldier Field was if there was a divide and it was obvious by the way it was answered and the hosts reaction that they were hoping for one.

Man, I remember a team that had a QB come back from missing most of the season and play for about a game and a 1/2 before starting in the playoffs and doing pretty decent, despite his defense not showing up.

I think a lot of what happened today can be chalked up to really hard weather that Rex was not ready for and bad play calls.

Really? Him getting stepped on, and throwing the ball away when no one was open? I'm not sure that I see those as problems with Rex. He has 15 yards and 2 INTs. You don't think that's a problem? It is a problem, but its a problem with Ron Turner for being a horrible play caller and calling deep passes when its 5 degrees and 15mph winds.
