Hopefully today itll be the Cubs bats that breaks through the second time around and the Cardinals will stay hitless
-
I missed the play, but heard Coomer say Nico beat the throw but missed the bag
-
Crazy I get nervous when our pitcher is pitching well, cause it seems like that when our bats go quiet 🙄🙄🙄😅
-
I put it on cubs radio broadcast
-
Need a good start out of Holmes... 6 innings and 3 or less runs today
-
Yuk, Apple TV today...
-
Yea, was hoping for a sweep against either the Royals or Nats, going to be harder to get one against Cardinals and WhiteSox. So just winning both series will be really good along with 8-4
-
Yep, Brewers will likely take 3 of 4 from the Dodgers
-
Dodgers blow 4-2 lead in 9th, tied up now
-
The postseason going to be relied upon these 3, Imanaga Gausman and Boyd to get it done for them. Bullpen and the Bats will likely be the make or break for them for the most part.
-
EDIT: I misread his post, interpreted as for next year, so just leaving my response as it still kinda nuts... Crazy that theyll possibly be losing all 5 of their current SP to FA after the season. Gausman, Boyd, Imanaga, Holmes, and Peterson. Right now we're looking at just Steele and Assad for the OD rotation. Horton out til maybe 2nd half 2027 Wiggins will likely start the season in Iowa
-
At least I can watch some little league ball now 🤷
-
Has anyone that they traded for been helpful 🙄🙄
-
Good talk by the pitching coach 😅 This one over, going 9-3 not looking too good now, was hoping theyd sweep one of the Royals or Nats.
-
Seems like Crow been taking alot of breaking balls for strike 3 lately
-
Hoby had 1 terrible outing against the Giants where he gave up 6 runs, other than that hes been pretty good.
-
Let's go offense, dont waste Gausman pitching today.
-
WTF is going on with Marquee
-
Find a way to win a ballgame today
-
Probably add Assad, Rea, and/ or Peterson in there too which will give them 2-3 guys who can give them 3+ innings , which is always needed at some point in a long postseason run to save the pen. They should have 9 solid relievers
-
Right, and they also didn't trade for Cabrera to be a reliever, they got him to be a TOR type starter for them. I think for 1 or two games, he will start with limited pitches and be piggyback by Peterson
-
W.... 3 back of Brewers
-
Kelly will get to 50, hes at 43 now
-
Tough night for Pete, 1 for 6
-
Way to Javy, save that bullpen
