That the matchups I've waited for in this series.. Imanaga vs Ohtani and Freeman I hope the cubs bats are on today, not cause I think Imanaga will have trouble, but because I want to see a win today and head back on the road on a good note.

That pretty much my hope, as I'm hoping Brown, Little, and Assad stays in the pen although I can see Brown returning to Iowa

Throwing another 10 pitches wouldn't make his arm fall off, plus he had an extra day off going into this game and he'll have an extra day off before his next start.

Kid dealing and making big pitches, let him get out of his own situation there. Outside of the 3 late inning relievers, they dont exactly have a reliable bullpen.

Wicks playing with fire a little too much against this team, just hope he don't get burned. Someone from the cubs need to get that big hit and get them on the board.

I'm sure he'll get a long benefit, but dang how many times do you have to see him get lit up before you say enough. It's not like they don't have arms to replace him in the rotation.

Wouldn't surprise me if Hendricks ends up in the bullpen this season, he seems to be a 1 time through the order guy now.

Yes, that why it's interesting.. Hate to lose any of these guys but having potentially 7 outfielders that can start everyday, likely 2 or 3 will be traded. -

Be interesting to see what they do with their outfielders next season as PCA, Caissie, Canario, and possibly Alcantara should all be ready to move up. Bellinger has PO the next 2 yrs Happ has 2 yrs left Suzuki has 2 yrs left plus an Arb year, so 3 yrs of control. -
All good, just had to make it a little exciting at the end... 😰

If Brown stays in the rotation, his next 3 opponents will be @SD @AZ Home Miami. By then I'm guessing Taillon could be back or close to it
