You're right when you say he's not worth hating. I don't hate him. I hate the fact that our team decided to put him on their 25 man roster. AND I hate that an injury caused him to have to play way too much. He's a deep back up for a not very good team. He would not make a roster of anyone close to contending. A career .208 hitter, with a .272 ob% and .613 obs, and I'm not real impressed with his defense so far. Plain and simple, bad is as bad does...or something like that.

Could save on the frustration level but I get to watch it at work so good or bad it's on. Anyway sometimes this scenario when it doesn't make sense to do anything, they play great.(at least I'm telling myself that)

Well this does have 24 posts in 2 hours. We still have conversations about Brenly not coming back and projecting the 25 man roster on the top of the front page. If some posters find solace in joking about badness, let them go for it. If posters abhor the idea of the thread...they should just skip it. It might allow things to pick up around here. I'd rather have a thread to post on, or joke about than sit with an empty board waiting/hoping for a game today.

But it was on our 4 local channels(in western Illinois), CSN- after the cubs, teaser on the sox pre-game, teaser on the sox postgame, the csn sports,the lead on WGN sports, on MLB, and baseball tonight. So after seeing 75 different times on 25 different channels it was on a lot. It was really just a sidenote. Really didn't even deserve a comment but someone has an issue and can't help themselves -

Seriously? You must not pay much attention or something. It was an exaggeration to make the point that Theo was on a lot yesterday. -

Really because it was on every local news cast downstate. It was all over the place on CSN and WGN. I saw Theo Epstein more last night than I have in his entire cubs career. So I guess I'm weird. Better than being a douche. -
yeah, or we could sit and watch crappy weather and hope there's a game..that's productive. lighten up and have some fun at Lillibridge's expense.

Well when your defense makes poor plays and you trot out bad relievers you lose games. We should have won the game Marmol blew, we should have lost the game the brewers pen blew. You should win a game when up 5-0 early, but you should lose a game when you give up 7 runs in 2 innings. To me it sounds like we should be 3-6
