    I have mixed feelings on Jason Dubois. These are just some of my thoughts. Please feel free to give your input & thoughts on what you think of JD now & what you think he will bring the Cubs in the future. Positives: His walks last night were very encouraging. Has prodigous power if picthed down the heart of the plate. Showed he can go to the opposite field if pitched on the outside corners. Hasn't made many if not any baserunning errors, which is encouraging for a rookie. Consistently hits the cut-off man & doesn't try to do too much with his arm. Negatives: Still gets fooled often by off speed stuff, but looks like he's improving. Very shaky defensively in the LF. Patience @ the plate is improving, but still a weakness. I wish Dusty would seperate in the order the best he can Burnitz,Corey & Dubois. Maybe put Barrett in the middle of those 3. Those 3 are bigtime K/free swing hitters. Thoughts??? Left Field is newer to him, I believe he was a right fielder before. Plus he's a rookie, we can't forget that, so he's learning both the league offenisvely and defensively. Experience will benefit him, but I'd agree in putting someone more consistant and feared behind him. He'll eventually adjust to the breaking ball down and in and when that happens, look out.

    A really ugly line, actually: Pitchers IP H R ER BB SO HR PC-ST ERA A Sisco (L, 0-1; B, 2) 1.0 3 2 2 1 2 0 25-14 1.89 It looks like they tried him as a closer. Probably not the best idea on KC's part. I suspect it will be interesting to see how he reacts now, since he had so much early success. While he bounced back nicely from opening day, this may have a more substantial effect on him. Why'd it have to be against the friggin' White Sox!? Hey JC, why do you think that this game will have more of an effect that the opening day game problems. To me i would think the opening day game would have destroyed his early confidence...which it didn't. The thing with sisco is though no one knows him, we'll see how the league adjusts over the year.

    Is this the only way to have an avatar, because i notice a lot of users have new avatars on what seems to be a weekly basis yet aren't under the userpic avatar list... Premium users can link to outside avatars on their own. ahhh, that makes sense Tim, thanks for the quick answer....thats it i'm going premium, i'm on this thing everyday anyway and i love it.

    Wow, I completely forgot about StubHub. #-o Yeah i got one of the "value dates" according to cubs during the week in april for 25/piece whichi don't think is horrible. So now i've got to games to go too!!! took long enough

    I finally broke down and went to stub hub and bought 2 tickets, and then i got through after 6 horus in the virtual room. I got crappy seats but i'll be in Wrigley for the first time in 3 years!!!! YEAH!!! :lol:

    Amen Gooney...two years and counting. And some people have gotten through multiple times. I even read some people are selling the tickets, that just kills me since i can't even get through!!!! :evil:

    I did not take the day off. I should be fired. yeah me too!! this virtual waiting room sucks, i just want to go to a game, any game!!!

    at least you got through, i haven't even had a chance. I didn't get through last year either. This sucks as a fan, i can't even go to a game.
