You won't have a message that states the roster is illegal. Sportsline doesn't track that, it's a self patrolled thing. What doesn't make sense?

I have noticed there are quite a few teams that have players on their minor league rosters that are not eligible for the minor leagues. In order to be able to place a player on the minor league roster, that player must be one of the following: 1. Actually be playing in the minor leagues. 2. Have less than 130 AB (position players) or 50 IP (pitchers) in the majors. You have players on your minor league roster that do not qualify under the above two options, you must move that player to your major league roster or release that player. For example, I have Scott Thorman on my minor league roster. At the beginning of the season he had a total of 128 AB in the major leagues which made him eligible for my minor roster. After this week, his AB are now at 138 so I must now move him to my major league roster or release him. I believe this is the way the minor rosters are supposed to work. Someone correct me if I am mistaken.

Why are current waivers going out until next Thursday (4/12)? I made two waiver claims yesterday and it says they won't be processed for a week. What's up with this Tim? :?:

Tim, I feel like I am at a disadvantage since the schedule had to be reworked because of contracting two teams and I had to open the season against Masterbatters and consequently getting my ass kicked. I think I should be offered Johan Santana and David Ortiz as compensation. Thank you for your understanding of my situation. 8-[

viewtopic.php?t=37439 This was posted back on December 15th, 2006. This is the post where I think it should be 10 starts and not 9. (5 starting pitchers per week * 2 starts per pitcher = 10 starts per week). That's the logical conclusion here.

Why should one of us get the use of a player for an entire week while the rest of us have to sit back and wait? Plus, if that's the case, why is Hosak still listed as #1 on the waiver claim order. Something is not right here.

How did Lance Berkman already end up on Hosak's roster. Shouldn't he be in the player pool with everyone else until the waiver release on Thursday?

I don't think nine starts works here. It is feesible that a team could be getting 2 starts from all their starters in one week. (5 starters x 2 starts = 10 starts) I think to be fair this number should be changed to 10. Also, I think you should be able to change out a pitcher as long as he has not had his start for that week. For example: I have Maddux in my lineup and he is starting on Thursday but I pick up Jon Garland in a trade on Tuesday with him starting against the Devil Rays on Friday. I replace Maddux with Garland in my lineup on Wednesday.
