  1. His e-mail is jerwersdl@yahoo.com and his name is Dustin Jerwers. I had also e-mailed him the rosters of the six teams that seemed to be the ones that were going to be available a couple weeks ago so there is one team he already knows what keepers he's going to go with.
  2. Go ahead and invite him in. Great! A couple questions for you: Can he choose which team to take over? What information do I need to give him in order for him to be able to access the league?
  3. The weekend of the 24th or 25th works for me.
  4. Tim, I have a friend at work that is willing to take over one of the teams. He is eager to join a good league and he is the type of player that will stay involved all season. Let me know what I can tell him.
  5. Anyone know what's going on? Is Tim out of town?
  6. Will the keeper deadline be extended again? Are there still 6 teams that have not paid? Are there going to be any teams available for someone to take over? Come on guys, we are now only 2-3 weeks away from a draft!!!
  7. Has everybody made their keeper picks yet and dropped the guys they need to? I don't think so. Yeah and why does that keep getting extended. Exempt: OF - Shin-Soo Choo RP - Jonathan Broxton SP - James Shields Minors: C - Jeff Mathis 3B - Josh Fields OF - Ryan Sweeney OF - Jerry Owens SP - Juan Mateo SP - Scott Mathieson SP - Homer Bailey Keepers (point total = 1726): 1B - Albert Pujols (674.2) OF - Alfonso Soriano (634.5) RP - Joe Nathan (239.8) RP - Akinori Otsuka (177.2)
  8. Try to keep up Raw.

    Pay up!

Tim, if you need guys to take over teams I definitely have one guy interested, maybe two.

    Pay up!

Tim, I paypaled you last Sunday (2/11) and I am not bolded.
  11. We are talking about March here, correct? Anytime after 6pm EST is good for me.

    Pay up!

On the draft order on the league's website.
  13. What are you talking about? Most Cub fans think the team will be improved, but the optimism is cautios. Sox fans are simply homers. There is no way they win that division. Pot. Kettle. Black.
  14. No less humorous than Cub fans. At this time of most fans think their team has a shot at the playoffs. And why shouldn't Sox fans feel that way? They are coming off 99 and 90 win seasons. They have the same lineup and four of the five same starting pitchers. They've made moves to try and improve the bullpen and the bench. Based on all of this, White Sox fans should think they have a shot at the division the same way Cubs fans do after all the moves Hendry has made this offseason and with a healthy Derrick Lee.
  15. That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.
  16. I don't think you guys are giving the Sox enough credit here. They have one of the most productive lineups in baseball to go along with one of the toughest rotations. If the starting pitching holds up this season and gets their ERA down .50 from last year the Sox should win the Central. The Twins, I think, are the biggest threat. They have been the most consistant in the division and their young players keep coming through. The Tigers are going to fall off a bit and finish 3rd. The Indians are dangerous at the plate but their pitching scares no one. The Royals, well, their the Royals. 2007 Standings: Sox 97-65 Twins 93-69 Tigers 87-75 Indians 80-82 Royals 63-99
  17. Unfortunately, they did.
  18. Okay, I think I have this figured out. Here is my roster returning from a 30-16 season --- Keepers (point total = 1726): 1B - Albert Pujols OF - Alfonso Soriano RP - Joe Nathan RP - Akinori Otsuka Exempt: OF - Shin-Soo Choo RP - Jonathan Broxton SP - James Shields Minors: C - Jeff Mathis 3B - Josh Fields OF - Ryan Sweeney OF - Jerry Owens SP - Juan Mateo SP - Scott Mathieson SP - Homer Bailey Bring on the draft!!!
  19. I need help knowing who my exempt players are. Also, I just made my league payment about 5 minutes ago. I have my Keepers: Pujols Soriano Nathan Broxton (exempt?) I have my minor leaguers: Mathis Fields Sweeney Owens Mateo Mathieson Bailey haha - you have a cub! :D haha - I have two cubs! Oh wait..............

  21. No, because if people don't pay, I want the new managers to have time to determine keepers. No problem. How does paypal work again?
  22. The stats function on sportsline. Stats and then what? 2006 totals and standard scoring?
  23. Since the keeper deadline has been extended does that mean the payment due date has been extended as well?
  24. Also, where do we find the points to use for the 1,800 limit?
  25. I know one person is out, but I have someone in mind. I'll let you know if another slot opens. Thanks Tim.
