Why should there be trades allowed right now? Shouldn't all teams have to come up with the players they're going to keep before offering up deals to get under the dreaded 1800 point barrier? why shouldn't they be allowed? I don't have a problem with trades after the 1800 point crunch hits teams. The time to make deals was during the season. why? major league teams make offseason trades. I don't see why they wouldn't be allowed now. If there is no current rule against it why shouldn't be allowed? It doesn't neccesarily mean less players would be available during the draft but a team may want to save another starting pitcher and if he has more outfielders than he knows what to do with then he has another way of trying to make his team stronger and win. Isn't that the point of playing? Everyone here would have the same opportunity.
