    Holy crap!!! 5 shutout innings of one hit one walk ball for Trevor Clifton. Struck out 5 on 75 pitches. 5-2 ground/fly outs.

    Goes 3-5 a double shy of a cycle Ryan Court HR Maples gives up 2 singles but strikes out 2 in a sporadic 8th inning. Iowa scores 7 runs in the 8th and 9th to win 9-4.

    Manny Margot took one square in the ribs last night and Renfroe took one off the wrist the inning before Got it. Baseball is so dumb with these retaliatory things. It makes no sense to keep throwing at guys because someone is going to end up hurt or suspended on your own team. The thing that got Nolan hot was the pitcher didn’t throw at any Rockies in the inning before after Renfroe wore it. Thought he was being the target. If your gonna retaliate do it that next inning first guy you face. And it’s done. And the butt is the preferred target
