We Got The Whole 9 replied to David's topic in General Baseball Talk
Looking at the plate discipline leaderboard and was very surprised to see Bryce Harper is making more contact than only 8 other players in baseball. A full 11 point drop from his career rate. Yet he's still mashing as well as ever. -
I have never seen a full Nats broadcast but I can't imagine the guy who shouts "see you later!" after every home run brings anything good to the table. Hate that horsefeathering call.

It would be nice if strike one to him wasn’t called on a ball a foot outside Sure. But he's swinging at the right pitches, hitting way more line drives and getting more hard contact, and yet has very little to show for it. It's frustrating.
