  1. I know nothing about this guy. Did he get platooned last year? He played a lot of games but his PA went way down from previous seasons.
  2. I do think that when a player loses bat speed they should consider going to a lighter bat. Fonz did that and nearly immediately he started mashing pretty good, enough that the Cubs were able to dump him finally.
  3. His pre-snap reads suck, he is a deer in headlight against a zone, he can't navigate a pocket and takes an ungodly amount of terrible sacks, isn't good at throwing receivers open, and he's at his worst in the 4th qtr. His problems are vast and hugely detrimental to an offense.
  4. Curious who you think the sleeper/Nakua is in this draft. I just think I would keep a guy who catches 70% targets and was on pace for almost 140 catches. Those guys are invaluable to me. Clearly elite route running and game smarts.
  5. IDK Frank was always huge and his numbers didn't really spike. His career progression was steady and consistent. He did hit a 520' (ovv with old tech) tank in the 94 HRD but Soto and Trevor Story did that also.
  6. I think they'll extend him and lower that hit
  7. Bunch of horsefeathers crap not to reschedule it
  8. Wicks with 0 Ks in 3 IP
  9. Brennen is in the game and doubled in his first AB
  10. This is just too reliant on mocks lining up, but, yeah that sounds good, I guess.
  11. He doesn't by himself. But obviously you look to trade back and get a 2 and another 4 or something.
  12. You just named 5 guys that could be there at 9, possibly one or two make it to 15 or whatever. I personally don't get locked into any single player anymore because there are always 15-20 players that get taken in the 1st that turn into players worthy of a 2nd contract. If they trade back they will still get a really good, possibly great player in my estimation
  13. Honestly it's just the Ks from Wisdom that make me lean Cooper.
  14. It's not about the cap at all. The Bears have just 4 picks and a lot of holes.
  15. This is pretty freaking hard. I just don't see them trading Wisdom, but that's what I would do to fit Cooper on the roster. He has a 112 over the last 5 years and crushes LHP. I don't think Canario, Mervis, or Peralta have much of a shot. Going with Bote is a very long-shot, but sort of plausible? They cant trade Madrigal because he's never healthy and hasn't hit. Mastro's OB skills are intriguing, and he feels like a guy who could finally emerge and brings some versatility across the IF. IDK.
  16. I would think Little and Assad are gonna be the pitchers. Wesneski is gonna be a shuttle guy. Lovelady is intriguing.
  17. Yeah it's a little confusing since we have the 9 now. Gotta say Poles' plan pretty much worked to perfection as far as he is concerned. I just wish he had added some more impactful FAs the last couple years.
  18. 108 catches and he missed freaking 4 games. He's pretty much a lock to catch 70% of his targets. Moore caught 70% last year, too. Goddamn, when healthy those 2 together are gonna be a nightmare for DCs.
  19. I want to see Poles sign Clowney or Young. Young is just 24 and even if he will never be quite the menace that was expected he's still a really good player. Clowney and Sweat would be a great tandem with both being stout run defenders and above average against the pass also. On a 1 or 2 year deal Poles should be all over him.
  20. Pretty positive that 9 is getting dealt
