  1. Lmfao I have never seen a catcher do that in my life at any level
  2. Does Mathis take like 5 pitches per game or an exorbitant % of called strikes? How do you maintain that rate and still carry a 27% K rate?
  3. Took her on a private boat ride while she was pregnant and later she named the baby Michael 😂 that poor child, especially later in life. Their spouses have been conspicuously silent about the fiasco.
  4. Well it was my turn to fall asleep and miss the beautiful chaos. They were up 4-2, I was really hoping to wake up to a blow out, but alas. Kudos to the resiliency of this team. Just remarkable. And this forum never gave up. People were rightly pissed at Counsell but I dont think I saw any defeatist posts. Theres a true vibe right now that we are never out of it. PCA's first Wrigley HR this year! 295/367/537 over his last 2 weeks guys. .3 BBK is not great but its improvement. 2 huge clutch hits in this series. Really nice to see him go to the short gap. Its right up there with RF in Yankee Stadium for its cheapness. Take advantage! It would be so heartwarming to win on our 10 year anniversary. Keep this horsefeathers up, please, all the way through November. I really want Jed to jump the market. Go get some young guys that aren't really working out with their current teams the way the Brewers did last year with Priester and Vaughn. You have plenty of ammo!
  5. Find a deal like the Brewers swung for Priester. You dont have to wait 2 months, and you have plenty of superfluous pieces to move IMO
  6. Robbie Ray? This is horsefeathers horsefeathers.
  7. The Cubs should probably aim higher. Maybe if he were still the 30% K guy. This year he's actually barely above average. And he gives up a horsefeathers ton of flyballs.
  8. So let's talk about Murray. 340/426/570 with 13/18 K and walk rates. Almost 500 AAA PA. Hes gotta be really intriguing as a plug/play 3B for downtrodden teams. His defense is supposed to be pretty sound, fg gave him a 50. Pairing him and Long gets you what?
  9. Interested to see how quickly the Sox lock him up. They are not going to trade him. He will get the biggest contract in team history.
  10. He might legitimately post a 2.0 BBK at this level.
  11. Maybe he needs some time off to rest that toe. I cant imagine it's going to heal playing through it every day. They have the players to withstand an IL trip, If he really is hurt. Shaw has far better range. They could also call up Murray so they can keep Shaw in that utility role. But we know how this organization operates with position players and the IL. They basically have to have a devastating injury to hit the shelf. Murray is having an outstanding year and I think he should get a little exposure to MLB pitching as he will almost certainly be traded at the TDL IMO. Perfect circumstance IMO. Bregman has been a little disappointing. But he's 1 hot series from being solidly above average.
