    They need to start drafting and signing more athletic and toolsy players to really get the love on these lists. They are probably a little too conservative, prioritizing potential to make the majors over potential to make an all star game. Although their approach has worked fabulously, so they likely won't alter it. And thats fine. Id like to see bigger swings but they clearly have a great grasp on a players potential. Cant argue with the results.

He has a coaching staff with about 50 years of championship experience and his development to this point has been extraordinary. You dont have to downplay every one of Caleb's contemporaries.

    Possibly they just didn't want to add another LHSP. They showed no interest in Suarez or Valdez. The Brewers kill LHP and IIRC beat Gore up pretty good. That might have been a factor too.

    Odunze in particular was very honest about how disappointed he is ik himself for his poor play on contested catches. Im expecting these guys to go so hard over the offseason. The stakes have been raised and they are well aware.
