Mixed bag of a series On surface 2-2 againts Cincy is a good outcome . On the other hand the game that Leiter blew cost them the season series . If the Cubs don’t make the playoffs because of a tiebreaker with the Reds , everybody will remember that one . Challenging week ahead with them having to face Webb / Gallen / Kelly . Hopefully Steele is on because he has 2 starts this week . Don’t know if he lines up againts Gallen or Kelly next weekend .

I know you are probably joking , but Candelario has a very uneven resume . Giving him a 4 -5 year deal would be risky . Maybe if they improve enough elsewhere they would go with Madrigal at 3B, given how he has adjusted on defense at the position

I am just tired of Ross and his loyalty . Not the time for that horsefeathers . Wisdom should not be playing the field period . Morel for some strange reason doesn’t hit lefties , even when he is doing well . Canario should be in CF . Bellinger should be at 1B . Madrigal should be at 3B . Take your pick between Candelario who is slumping or Wisdom at DH .

Swanson / Candelario / Tauchman / Morel Too many bats slumping right now . This sucks because I think Asad is due for a bad one and Taillon is garbage . That’s who they have next .

Reds have some injuries right now . Votto / Fraley / McClain are down . Steer will play a lot of IF and that is going to open an OF spot . Bader will get a lot of playing time . I don’t like the Reds picking him up but my biggest worry was them getting a couple of pitchers ..

These players that the Angels put on waivers will end up in the NLWC race . Giolito is going to the Giants or Reds . Clevinger is going to one of those teams as well . Moore or Lopez will go to Mia
