He got a very slight pay raise. 9.3 mil in 2012/2013, 9.375 this year, and then 9.575, 9.975, and 10.375 for the next 3 years. Teams that trade for him has only 2015 as guaranteed (Marshall’s 2015 base salary becomes fully guaranteed if on the roster on the 3rd day of the 2015 League Year*) so he can be cut at any time after next year. Bears would be stuck with 5.6 mil dead money this year due to his signing bonus, but would gain 3.95 mil cap space.
