  1. It's sad that I'm not chalking this one up as a win yet.
  2. Dude, this game is not even close to over.
  3. Sac fly please. Theriot is an enormous run.
  4. Wow, they showed Marmol and he wasn't picking his face.
  5. This is completely OT, but it's funny to see how ethnically offensive that game was when it first came out. Briefly explain please.
  6. Ted Lilly looks like Super Mario when he runs.
  7. Probably Cotts' best/most important inning in a Cubs uniform.
  8. Most precarious 7th inning lead in MLB histroy?
  9. I'm done with Cedeno being on this team. He looks abolutely pitiful in PH appearances. Throw him a lifeless fastball 2 feet high and 2 feet outside and he'll flail at it every single time.
  10. Man, our RH bench when we're facing a left handed starter is strugglin
  11. Yeah, well, after living through the '84 debacle trust me, I would rather have won. I was 3 in 1984. Thinking about 2003 still makes me angry. 2003 doesn't make me angry, it makes me sad. That team really had a special feeling. 2004 is the season that pisses me off.
  12. It's not completely his fault but you have to question the hit and run. Even if you thought it was a worthwhile endeavor to hit and run, doing so with Ramirez, who doesn't steal ever and probably would be easily fooled by Davis' pick off move and with Fuku, who hasn't hit well lately, isn't the best idea. I think it was a poor call too, but it's hardly Lou's fault that Aramis doesn't know how to tell when a pitcher is throwing to first as opposed to throwing home. Of course Ramirez deserves blame also, but Lou is the one who forced him to try and get a good lead against a guy with a great pickoff move.
  13. Why is that funny? You've got one of the slowest guys on the team at the plate, a lefty with a great pickoff move, and a lefty at the plate who strikes out a ton and is bad against LHP.
  14. Lou thought it would be a good idea to send Ramirez with a lefty looking right at him and Kosuke facing the same lefty. I'm shocked that it didn't work out.
  15. Maybe because they botched hit and run was primarily his fault.
  16. Seriously, so dumb. Kosuke is facing a lefty, he strikes out a ton, and Ramirez is extremely slow. Send him Lou!
  17. What? Way too many throws and allowed the guy to get to second.
  18. Again, you've already proclaimed we aren't winning the division, so I'm not sure why any of this matters to you. Where did I proclaim that?
