Dude, those guys work for the Cubs. Sheehan doesn't. Z is not a 18 year old pitcher, he's a horse. Don't worry, Lou will take him out but this pitch count crap is getting ridiculous. It's not like he has thrown 160 pitches. You're not getting it. 118 pitches in a 1-0 game is one thing. But the Cubs were up 6-0 going into the eighth inning which is why it was unnecessary to throw him out there for the eighth. Had it been 1-0, that would have been okay considering Z was pitching well. But it wasn't a close game which is why it wasn't smart to throw Z out there. Exactly. There is just NO reason to leave him in. There is nothing to gain and everything to lose.
