curse of ovechkin
-
can we please get gus johnson to start calling playoff hockey? HEART. BREAK. CITY!
-
i don't believe it
-
nothing like it
-
highly disagree with pulling the goalie so early when you have a pp and they can fire away
-
terrible, terrible penalty

what the hell is going on in this thread
-
i cant even begin to imagine how frustrating this series must be for caps fans. what a nightmare.
-
i don't think so. though break, but i think thats the right call. maybe you dont call that in the playoffs though
-
elmer fudd is pissed

yeah, it's crazy how much better the west matchups are than the east. if montreal wins tonight, the pens will be the only team left in the east that would have even made the playoffs in the western conference. man i wish we played in the east.
-
you haven't? this happens almost every playoffs, a goalie plays out of his mind and keeps his team closer to the superior team than they should be. just off the top of my head, there was j-s giguere in 2003, kiprusoff in 2004, cam ward in 2006, hasek in 1999, roy in 1993 and hextall in 1987. and those are just the guys who got their team all the way to the finals. i know tht goalies stand on their head. i just havent seen any of them play the way halak has played for the last 4+ periods. giguere was the one i was going to say was close.

halak is going to be a legend if they win this game. i don't think i've seen anything like this.

What happened to this guy?

keith law was in a twitter war earlier with some fat clown who was convinced he was right. he even compared law's distaste for RBIs to saying that the speed of an NHL player is more important than goal totals. good stuff -

Ummm....Blackhawks? Uh...........Penquins............Hmmmmm....Capitals? Wings are good, but don't make it sound like they are unbeatable, cause Detroit can be beaten. all 3 of the other remaining teams in the west would probably be favored over detroit right now, as well as washington and pittsburgh.
-
should be an insane atmosphere. the phoenix crowds have been pretty good Blah, the Bulls game was the only competitive game between the NBA and NHL playoffs tonight. I don't think the Sharks will be able to beat the Wings. I think this series goes 6 at most. why? the wings needed 7 games to beat phoenix, and san jose is much better than the coyotes.

Guys can get into Lou's doghouse for making 3 consecutive outs, yet he continues to pitch Grabow in close games as he fails every time.
