    considering you need pitching and have extra outfielders, i don't understand why you haven't accepted already. i was always extremely skeptical of how high upton was going this season. he's still only 22

    I doubt it. They outshot Colorado 51-17, couldn't score and lost on an own goal in Game 3 of that series to fall behind 2-1 but came back to win the next three and the series. touche. Hadn't thought about that. yeah but the avalanche weren't close to what the hawks are right now

    Unfortunately, I couldn't watch this game. I'm planning on rewatching it later, but can you guys tell me how it went? All I got from my brother was that the Sharks dominated the 1st and the Hawks dominated the 3rd.

    i'm just glad i wasn't excited about the cubs before this season started. in the last 6 weeks all i've gone from is "i think they're gonna suck" to "yeah, they do suck" i don't know why, but i don't think it was until last season that the cubs broke me

    it wasnt so much the late season meltdowns as much as it was the general irraitonal behavior he displayed all season. i think there were literally only like 2 or 3 out of 82 games that season where he wasn't completely flipping out about the refs.

    you didn't even see the best ones in the blackhawks thread Were there ones from this year? I saw the ones last year and thought he was banned before the new season started. oh, yeah i meant last season. i didn't think you read blackhawks threads.

    definitely not. it should also be mentioned that papelbon has declined the past couple seasons. k's are down, walks are way up

    apparently because it's game 7 you ignore the rules of hockey and allow one team to play with an extra player on the ice. come on mark, that's one of the few penalties that they HAVE to call in these types of games (along with high sticking, which gave the B's their first two goals). mark recchi is such a bitch. i hated that guy when he was on the lightning

Wow dude Maybe I didn't understand him, or maybe it wasn't him, but someone made fun of me and someone else for having our kids in our sigs. I thought it was him that did, but maybe it was him that was also made fun of. It just seemed very obviously sarcastic (and unfunny) to me. Even though he is Erik, that sounds more like something Mizzou or maybe Cynosure would do. it definitely wasn't sarcastic. it was really bizarre. i remember him saying something to the effect of "that's gross, nobody wants to see pics of your kids". it wasn extremely strange

    The Canadiens have been ridiculously outplayed in the playoffs i wouldn't go that far. against washington yes. but against pittsburgh i thought they held their own and didn't just rely on halak. from the games i saw, they skated pretty well against the pens. they're a dangerous team.

    What would come between it and Red Sox/Yankees 2004? not sure. blowing a 3-0 series lead AND a 3-0 game 7 lead (at home) has to put it right up there. sucks that this series kind of got pushed aside and didn't get much attention. what a comeback.
