    wow we're so fucked the worst part is that this is the stretch where this team needed to be racking up points. tons of home games, lots of easy opponents (like edmonton and colorado). what's going to happen when they go on that brutal 9 game road trip in a few weeks? it could get really ugly.

    The obvious answer is you ride it out until/unless the team goes to a significantly worse record and playoff position. I don't think Q is in any danger this year, regardless. He won a Cup. That buys him time to turn things around, even if it isn't this year. i agree that you wait longer, but the cup is irrelevant at this point. that was 2 years ago. last year i'd say he had a free pass or whatever. the honeymoon is over now.

    i know it seems ridiculous to say this for a team that is 24-13-5, but when do we start consider making a coaching change? this is the second straight year where the team is visibly unable to put out a consistent effort on a nightly basis. last year we wrote it off as a cup hangover. what now?

    cashner is 25, is hurt all the time, and has only had one super impressive stretch in the minors. oh, and he isn't even a starter at this point. this trade is awesome.

    it's amazing how much better deng has gotten since thibodeau has been in chicago. he's a completely different player.

    he was saying stuff like "there's the hawks we know and love" every time anybody on atlanta would make a poor decision or something. he was trashing them the whole night for no reason. it was embarrassing, and he's made a habit of doing this.

    yea he's annoying/obnoxious, but at least he isn't loathsome like funk is. Ok, I get why people would find King obnoxious, but why is funk "Loathsome"? because he flat out insults the opposing team every night and is an extreme homer. the fact that he says a lot of stupid stuff is just icing on the cake.
