    Can you do me a huge favor and post the full horsefeathering name of horsefeathering 17 year olds that nobody's horsefeathering heard of? You know a lot about draft prospects and you post a lot of cool horsefeathers about them and I'd like to benefit from your knowledge rather than wanting to choke you out.

    You're a bartender, server or anyone else that works for tips in the Chicago area. I've heard that he is widely known as "No tippin', Pippen". Which makes him a garbage human being regardless of anything Mr. Pink has to say on the matter. He's a domestic abuser too, and if you want on-court rationale, he did sit out in the playoffs with the game on the line because he was pouting about not getting a play drawn up for him. I still loved him as a player but there really isn't a shortage of reasons to dislike him. All this, and he was an horsefeathers to me as a little kid when I asked him for an autograph

    i could see sending out assets to salary dump heyward and/or zobrist (assuming no big bouncebacks from either) A year away, but given what it would take to dump Heyward (paying most of his salary, prospects, etc.), I wonder if they'd consider trading Schwarber for cheap production/pitching, keep Heyward in right, and move Bryce to left. Yeah, I think they get to a point in 2019 where we look to trade Schwarber or Happ to re-stock the farm system. And that would be a super baller move for a top contender to do.

    Except those first six days. Opening day starter will go on regular rest in his second start. Might be nice throw Monty a bone and let him start there. It's Monday morning so excuse me if I am reading that wrong. Are you suggesting that Montgomery be the Opening Day starter? In place of the opening day starter's second start on day 6

    3 for Hendricks and Contreras seems bearish to me. Willy breaks out for 5 this year.

    I don't think he's going to get seven years so much as I think there's no way in hell he only gets four, short of an undisclosed injury. The top guys almost always get their money in the end. Chris Davis, Max Scherzer, Justin Upton (2 winters ago) all got theirs, and I know it was a while back at this point but Prince Fielder got his too. I can't remember a top guy ever really falling short of expectations, even when they've gone past MLK day without signing. Yoenis Cespedes is probably the closest. Last year he was supposed to get around 5/125 last winter and signed for 4/110. Although he signed that deal fairly early, he wasn't waiting around for two months, so it's possible that he just liked shorter term/higher AAV. IT makes a little more sense for a position player, and as a team that is not at all concerned about the luxury tax it worked out well for the Mets too. There's a lot of smoke coming out of Darvish's camp right now. My guess is that it's more about them trying to wrap things up rather than that them being desperate. I wouldn't be surprised if he has his 6/150 offer in hand, and his agents are basically doing a lap around the league once more to make sure they're not leaving any money on the table. From who?

    He's going get a ton more playing time with the DBacks, no? Yeah, this feels like a gentlemen's agreement to me. I'll bet we would have gladly offered that money but were open about our ability to give him playing time and respected his wishes to go elsewhere for more

    Well one is literally a racial slur so, while certainly insensitive, I'm not sure Illini and Blackhawks belong in the same sentence chief illiniwek (the actual mascot guy, that is - i just realized you meant the character/logo) is/was definitely a goofy caricature of native americans. the blackhawks logo/name seems far less disrespectful than the other teams mentioned, but what do i know. My alma mater, Marquette, changed their mascot name from the Warriors in the early 90s. I had to hear from sanctimonious Illini how offensive our mascot USED to be while they patted themselves on the back for the respectful portrait of native americans that their mascot represented.
