  1. John Sickels wrote that about RHP Sean Hjelle and he seems like the high guy on him among prospect analysts. Keith Law mentions how he's a strike thrower with good command who could still add more velocity down the road. It seems like Kiley McDaniel and Eric Longenhagen of Fangraphs are really down on Sean Hjelle, and didn't even have him listed on their Top 50 draft prospects list. I like him personally and think he might add a little more velocity as he gets older. He's so damn skinny right now. I think he has room to get stronger. I think his curveball is a plus pitch right now, and I think the changeup is solid-average and could turn into another plus pitch in time. I'll be curious to see where baseballamerica has him. I don't know if I want the Cubs to take him at #24 since there might be better prospects available, but I doubt he'll fall all the way to their next pick at the end of the 2nd round. Where's Kumar Rocker on that list?
  2. 7/21 is Belgian National Day (and thus a public holiday) so I love this decision. 8-) I dig it too, I've never been to a day/night DH before
  3. We. Made. The. NLCS. That’s the goal? To get destroyed in the NLCS? Last year these guys cried about being tired in the NLCS because of how much effort they had to use in the 2nd half to make up for their horsefeathers start. http://78.media.tumblr.com/cca5de6876c43e2fbf18ead15b9555bb/tumblr_mmgon2y4J01rezj1go1_250.gif
  4. "When?" It's already come up a few times; minus the arm, he's kinda butt behind the plate. I mean, sure, I've seen people mention the passed balls and plain inability to catch pitches sometimes but I don't recall anyone specifically talking about his lack of framing skills. oh. well, we do...all the time.
  5. how the horsefeathers is he blowing this nonsense by KB
  6. It was actually Preston Tucker that hit the HR. That was Preston Tucker. Let that wash over you. http://gifimage.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/better-call-saul-gif-9.gif man, I need new BCS badly
  7. It's me, so of course not. He's probably a top #10 prospect or something, but whatever; here's how much another team's boring-ass prospect means to me:
  8. wait have you never heard of dansby swanson before
  9. I go back to what Rhea Seehorn said about Kim's arc - basically the way that they are building this universe, she could even be in the background during the BB timeline, and made it sound like that could totally work. It made me really confident that the showrunners were going to horsefeathering nail this thing. And they have; I think it's better than BB so far. Yeah, that's why I always think it's goofy that so many people just assume something terrible MUST happen to Kim; how about she and Jimmy just have a falling out like people do and they're each doing their own thing? Given what she's already been able to look past, it seems impossible that there is a thing that he could do within character that would completely ruin them. So that's exactly what's going to happen.
  10. I'm starting to hate the PIrates and I'm pretty ok with it. The Brewers and Cards are horsefeathering boring right now.
  11. I did not remember this particular BCS callback to BB. Awesome. It really is impressive how well they do the whole prequel thing, even with little things like this. It doesn't feel cheesy or forced, and instead just makes it seem like in the end that both series combined are going to feel like one giant seamless epic. 13. Same, but also Javy has hit 3hrs since this so it's woefully outdated
  14. When was Zo's injury? Does it explain last year's struggles?
  15. Nice low interest at Guaranteed Rate! Oh horsefeathers I'm stealing this
