  1. [see Justin Wilson warming in the bullpen] Uh, never mind. Found myself rooting for Heyward to get out so Joe wouldn't do something reeeeeaaaally stupid
  2. Just as I was going to applaud Joe for the great call, he inexplicably pulls Strop
  3. Great game by Q, hilarious Brewer ineptitude and Zo and KB back and looking good. Happy day
  4. What you said was nonsense, so I made fun of you. It's not personal, I have no opinion about you one way or the other What is nonsense about it? You're not surprised by Harper making significantly less contact than Javy Baez, and having the 9th worst rate in the Majors, when carrying a career rate 10 points higher? Read your post again. It said none of those things. It barely passed for English
  5. Seriously what the horsefeathers are you trying to say here I was surprised to see Harper making 65% contact You seem to have some kind of problem with me. Every time you reply it's some sarcastic trying to be a cool guy bs. Put me on ignore. What you said was nonsense, so I made fun of you. 7. Thanks! That seems pretty consistent with where he is expected to go in the draft. Are there any guys whose ranking on there is out of line with their projected draft position due to signability concerns? That's what I'm most curious about. So I believe Keith Law's list is just his ranking of the top 50 prospects in this year's draft. He doesn't move prospects up or down based on signability and this isn't a mock draft. This is just a list based on how he views their talent and skill level/production. Keith Law wrote this short explanation above the list: Right, I 100% get that and was able to read that far. What I'm asking is, in this pure list of draft prospects, does he have some dude #2 who most don't think will go in the top ten due to signability (or injury, or whatever)

  9. John Sickels wrote that about RHP Sean Hjelle and he seems like the high guy on him among prospect analysts. Keith Law mentions how he's a strike thrower with good command who could still add more velocity down the road. It seems like Kiley McDaniel and Eric Longenhagen of Fangraphs are really down on Sean Hjelle, and didn't even have him listed on their Top 50 draft prospects list. I like him personally and think he might add a little more velocity as he gets older. He's so damn skinny right now. I think he has room to get stronger. I think his curveball is a plus pitch right now, and I think the changeup is solid-average and could turn into another plus pitch in time. I'll be curious to see where baseballamerica has him. I don't know if I want the Cubs to take him at #24 since there might be better prospects available, but I doubt he'll fall all the way to their next pick at the end of the 2nd round. Where's Kumar Rocker on that list?
  10. 7/21 is Belgian National Day (and thus a public holiday) so I love this decision. 8-) I dig it too, I've never been to a day/night DH before
  11. We. Made. The. NLCS. That’s the goal? To get destroyed in the NLCS? Last year these guys cried about being tired in the NLCS because of how much effort they had to use in the 2nd half to make up for their horsefeathers start. http://78.media.tumblr.com/cca5de6876c43e2fbf18ead15b9555bb/tumblr_mmgon2y4J01rezj1go1_250.gif
  12. "When?" It's already come up a few times; minus the arm, he's kinda butt behind the plate. I mean, sure, I've seen people mention the passed balls and plain inability to catch pitches sometimes but I don't recall anyone specifically talking about his lack of framing skills. oh. well, we do...all the time.
  13. how the horsefeathers is he blowing this nonsense by KB
  14. It was actually Preston Tucker that hit the HR. That was Preston Tucker. Let that wash over you. http://gifimage.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/better-call-saul-gif-9.gif man, I need new BCS badly
