    I think that Toomer's Corner thing is really sad, but holy [expletive], that's funny. If it happened to a school other than one I attended, I'd probably laugh at that Avatar clip...the guy who did it has kids named Chrimson and Bear and a dog also named Bear...lmao. On a brighter note, a group of Alabama fans is raising money to help Auburn deal with the situation...8k so far which I doubt will pay for much, but it's something positive... Yeah, there was actually a little piece on this in yesterday's Red Eye. Pretty cool.

And that label is applied by racists So, the analyst at CBS sports are racist, and the Redsox scouts are racist, who characterized his defense as such, it is a weak sword to draw in his defense. Use the race card to push the opponent back on their heels so they are defending. Question: Do you believe Bob Brenley and Ron Santo were Racist? All I did was point out that he wasn't in front of the ball in the photo, and I pray that every Cub is working on their defense. He had a couple of above average years defensively, but overall he's been below average. That was obviously tongue-in-cheek. Maybe you're not a regular contributer, but there is a long-running joke (though not so lighthearted) about Kaplan and Wittenmeyer's perception of Ramirez being lazy being based on his ethnicity. Although, in all honesty, I think Kaplan is a [expletive] racist

    just to review this post. like half of NSBB has suggested good alternatives to your options (which was faulty - bray pitched fewer than 2 innings), like not blowing through the bullpen like a complete spaz, using a utility infielder (who isn't valuable) to pitch, not managing the game like it's a must-win since the team is already 6.5 games behind and that extra win is very unlikely to matter at the end of the year, and using the next day's starter rather than your best starter who happens two nights removed from throwing 100+ pitches. yet you continue to insist that dusty went with his only real option available. And just because "NO manager would choose c)" doesn't mean that c) isn't the best option

    Or it's just a ridiculous sum of money to those making middle-class wages. I certainly don't begrudge certain classes of people for what they make as it is what the market will bear. However, I just can't empathize with someone making $10 million dollars a year wanting to make $20 million. I want my bills to get paid on time. But you empathize with the billionaire owner who wants to hold on to even more money for himself Where are you getting that? I don't empathize the sums of money on either side. It's the rich fighting the richer. Wow, listen to yourself. The money has to go somewhere. Does it stay in the pocket of the billionaire owner for no reason, or does it go to the guy who makes the product on the field what it is (a.k.a. makes the owner his money)?
