  1. That's his second or third of the game. But he still can't catch passes that aren't thrown to him underhand
  2. hahahaha that was awesome
  3. THAT IS NOT A FOUL
  4. Lulz, on Chirinos. I wish Hendry wasn't a dope and give that Abe Vigoda fella a shot over Zambrano. And wasn't Pie more of a Lou debacle? 1) is Chirinos not better than Koyie Hill? 2) Sure, and Neifi was Dusty's. I wasn't ascribing blame to individuals within the organization
  5. that was a horse [expletive] call
  6. I LOVE GUS THIS GAME ISN'T EVEN THAT EXCITING
  7. Your big white guys are [expletive] painful to watch
  8. Just out of curiosity, who have we really blocked in recent years? Micah Hoffpauir? Jake Fox? Sam Fuld? If we had a shred of the talent in our system that The Rays have, I assure you that they wouldnt be asting away in Iowa. No, no, and no. Pie was the main guy I was thinking of. Although he was up, he wasn't given any sort of chance to work through anything. Neifi/Macias blocked Cedeno. Koyie Hill would have kept Chirinos down and didn't we sign Trachsel when either Rich or Sean could've been the 5th starter?
  9. This is perfectly fine when you have a team who doesn't block their young players when they're ready. So, the Rays can do something like this, and the Cubs still can't. Rays 17, Cubs 0
  10. Wait, what did Dallas Braden do? 25 years, try 25 weeks. He's the guy that punched Jeter because he kicked dirt from the pitchers mound. Or something like that. He would actually be more memorable if he had done that. It was Arod, wasn't it? And he just pointed and yelled at him. Everyone points and yells at Arod
  11. No reason to even play the game now. Also, when I started watching football, one of my favorite players was John Jurkovich. He was on WTMJ this morning and picked the Bears to win. He's now dead to me. At least I still have Bryce Paup. Of course he did. He's a Chicago radio personality. Yeah, I didn't know that until this morning. I had no idea Jurko was a packer
  12. Why do you speak ill of Musberger? Is he not as good at basketball games? I think he sucks at announcing regardless of the sport. He and Herbstreit are my favorite national announcing duo, period
  13. Why do you speak ill of Musberger? Is he not as good at basketball games?
  14. Suckup. You're right, your homophobic content is much better suited for a baseball message board
  15. This is a good way to prove you didn't watch a single game last year
  16. Despite (finally) showing some good peripherals in the last line, he seemed really old for his first go-round at A+.
  17. Hendry has always done a pretty damn good job in trades... Other than Wuertz, Garza has been the only big one in question and some people do not believe Hendry made a bad move... I am quite intrigued by Burgess, even if the 2 pitchers are decent upside / raw prospects this deal should go down as a good one. Gorzelany's command (or lack of) is the reason he is being bounced around, he is as likely to put up a mid 5 ERA as he is to repeat last season. That's just really incorrect. And besides, with this organization's obsession with handedness, this trade is likely to force someone with a lot worse qualifications than Gorzo to start next year. That said, I still like the trade in a vaccuum
  18. Pretty awesome. He hit the [expletive] out of the ball in AA last year
  19. Cutler was actually recruited as a safety out of high school. He went to Vandy because the HC at the time (promised he could play QB. He's always been an athletic QB. i know that ron turner could have had him if he wanted. but seriously, cutler was a big-hit safety, a mean, cheap-shotting missile who just happened to be able to throw the ball. he also returned kicks for his high school team. Don't forget in HS, he caught the game winning touchdown pass in the state championship game on a trick play. The guys an athlete. Not at all fair, but this kind of talk reminds me a little bit of Darin "Punter" Erstad. Carry on
  20. I'll be pretty upset if this is for more roster filler. Also, I thought the Nats' system was good - who have they graduated/traded away recently?
