Giants had all the momentum going into game 1 too and it did horsefeathers all. If we don't come back tonight, we'll still have a massive advantage against Matt Moore tomorrow, and then I'll still take Lester over Cueto if it gets to that. This has been a confusing, frustrating game, but bullpens are going to bullpen, no matter how supposedly unhittable some pieces of garbage are advertised as being. Offense will hit, and we will be fine. It's different when we are talking about elimination games. The Giants have the even year mystique, the 9-0 in elimination games etc. none of that mattered to the Cubs but now the Giants have to be slightly in the Cubs heads. The Giants have nothing to lose...they don't have the 108 year drought or the 103 win season or the 7 all stars. I don't know how much psyche matters or how much it matters to this team but I guess we will find out This is all really dumb. Go back and watch that stupid Costas interview with Rizzo and Bryant. None of these players could give a horsefeathers about (or probably are even aware of) everything you mentioned. We are clearly the better team, and the odds are still highly in our favor that we're going to show that by winning this series.
