roydell williams broke his ankle in practice yesterday....he was tennessee's leading receiver....not looking good for them at this point.

i'm really sick of reading all of the complaining from mizzou fans and how they got screwed out of a better bowl game...get over it already....oh yea, and don't lose your conference championship by 3 scores next time...maybe then you won't get passed up for a bcs game.

no, you're right, they do. that's a no-call. he wasn't trying to make contact, he was going for the ball and the usc player got in the way. No, that's PI. The DB bumped the receiver and interfered with the receiver's ability to catch the ball. That's what is called pass interference. nope. that's called incidental contact when both players are going for the ball. DB bumps WR off his route. The bump prevents WR from catching the ball. That's PI. If it would have been the other way around - USC DB bumping an Illinois WR, you wouldn't be saying anything right now. the only reason he was bumped is because the illinois player was going for the ball....a bs call that really screwed illinois. It's still a bump - which you just admitted it was - and the referees are going to call that. Stop talking like Illinois got screwed over. They didn't. right, he bumped the usc player when making an attempt at catching the ball...completely legal....where i come from when you don't do something illegal in a football game, you shouldn't be penalized for it.

especially pitiful considering they were supposed national championship favorites at the start of the season. but then again they did the same thing against michigan last year, so its not suprising. lose a few games in the regular season, win a meaningless bowl game, act like your king of the world yes, the Rose Bowl is quite meaningless. it's just a little less meaningless than the cotton bowl, though. You know you don't deserve to be in this game so just get over yourself. Plus, I'd rather win the Cotton Bowl than get completely embarrassed in the Rose Bowl. See you in St. Louis. geeze man...bitter much? haha

well, it looks like the titans are going to sneak out of indy with a win...pretty ugly, but the titans are an ugly team....still, sad that they barely win whilst playing against the colts' reserves for most of the game.

Purdue lost to Wofford. This loss sucks. It really sucks. But we'll probably win 20 games still. Tourney's done for though which is really sad. Just work on developing DMac, Tisdale, and Davis. right, but i'm not sure i'd be able to put up with the girlfriend if purdue beats the illini, heh....i'll probably still make the trip, just sucks that both teams aren't very good.

Hands down, why? They haven't played anybody to indicate that they're the better team and there's the whole team speed and talent thing too. I'm not saying they won't win, they may. I don't think they will, but what makes you think they are the better team? i smoke crack fixed :wink:

last time i checked, they didn't have any black on their uniforms...pretty sure that's navy blue also, i like their uni's..very simple and classic.
